Fourteen miners have been trapped in a coal mine near the northern Colombia town of Zulia after an underground explosion. A miner who was above ground at the time was injured by the blast, sustaining "burns all over his body," Mayor Manuel Pradilla saidsource.

Since last year being 2021 that Colombia has recorded 148 fatalities during mining only as the death rate keeps on increasing. Since the main source of income for the Colombians is the mining and exports of these natural resources, then developing a carefree attitude or not being meticulous while handling the equipments for the mining should be discouraged as the morality rate due to mining is becoming that fast forwarding. If the Colombian miners aren't good at the business,then experts for such should be employed as life is priceless.
