Arise Tv, Ruben Abati and Oseni Rufai. Digital Love Expressed

I love a couple of things that are shared on the digital space. As one who has the opportunity to see these stuff crop up, stuff like podcasts, online news channels, music and whatnot. It's a rare opportunity. Hence, I take my time to cherish them. However, my cravings are higher for one than the other.

NEDU WAZOBIA podcast with his gang is one spectacle you cannot help but watch. The way they intertwine their questions and the real way the guys come at their guests is one of a kind. So, predominantly, I have been watching them do their things. Having heard of different other podcasts, in town in the digital space, I think that this particular one touches on the aspect that affects the average Nigerian. This is the reason why I have given in to watching podcasts but it is not really my thing.

My Real Digital Thing

Over the years, I have been a fan of the television set but graduated to following online news. The news channel that broke the jinx for me is ARISE NEWS.
During the #endsars protest in 2020, Arise news reported the world class event just the way it was. Seeing young people come out en-mass to say NO to police brutality was a huge success and I can proudly say that ARISE TV aired it unbiased.
The boldness of the reporters caught my attention. They stood close to the police officers who were arresting some of the protesters without fear of being humiliated.

I know that we have suffered the freedom of information in the past in democratic Nigeria but the tide is turning to our advantage in recent times.

The Anchor

The team of Dr. Ruben Abati and Rufai Oseni on the Arise TV channel is a great team and speak the minds of the Nigerian people. If you ask me, I will tell you that Oseni Rufai and Abati make a great team. When journalism is done without fear of favour, the viewers and listeners will know where to pitch their tent. As for me, I am with Arise TV. It has become my digital idol for news updates.

Politicians have no fear of being interviewed on Arise TV because they know they will be posed with questions that can shift their brains. Some of them have gone ahead to tag the channel as being sponsored by Peter Obi and his cohorts.

Though, there are other reliable television stations like the Channels where Seun Okinbaloye is doing amazingly well. I respect Seun a lot. He has a podcast too where he brings NIGERIANS of notable and impeccable character to a live podcast.
I believe that the digital space is exposing our corrupt leaders and they are beginning to shy away from being interviewed via this model. Digital alertness and security is what we need to act on now so that evil people will not propagate a movement to ban digital life in Nigeria like it was done to the defunct Twitter where. Nigerians had to seek VPN to access the loves of their lives.

This was an interesting read.
These channels must be good ones from what I'm hearing 😄
I'd love to see the expression on their faces when their actions is being questioned.
But I don't have a TV, and I may not have the time too, so I stick to podcasts.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm so shocked that you do not have a TV set. Maybe you deliberately don't want to have it or you are a Deeper Life member.
Arise Tv makes a lot of sense when you watch their news review and morning show were topical issues are being discussed.

Deeper life members don't watch TV? 😲

It's not deliberate on my part, I can't afford it for now.

Yes,they don't.
It's quite unbelievable that you cannot afford a TV for now. Soon, that will be a thing of the past when you have enough money to get one.

this is an interesting read.
kudos to arise for not being biased with their reports.
The end sars protest was a very bad experience that we don't want to repeat it self. Thankfully, the recent protest wasn't as bloody

Thank you for your candid response. The recent protest was almost hijack d, thanks to the organizers that refused to loose guard and be watchful.
However, there is need for more concise broadcasting and information freedom in our beloved nation.
