Ponderosa lemon flowers are beautiful, fragrant, and typically white to pale pink in color. They bloom on the Ponderosa lemon tree, a unique citrus hybrid that produces large, bumpy, thick-skinned lemons. The flowers resemble those of other citrus plants, with five delicate petals and a cluster of yellow stamens in the center. When they bloom, their sweet, strong scent attracts pollinators like bees.

These trees are often grown in warmer climates or indoors in containers where they can be protected from frost. The flowers are followed by the development of the Ponderosa lemons, which can grow to be quite large, sometimes as big as grapefruits!
