Hace varios meses se terminó de partir uno de los paños (vidrio) de la ventana de una de las habitaciones del segundo piso de mi hogar, es utilizada para los huéspedes. Resulta ser que durante el año 2017 se produjeron en todos los estados del país protestas violentas llamadas guarimbas generadas por desacuerdos con el sistema de gobierno.

Several months ago one of the cloths (glass) of the window of one of the rooms on the second floor of my home was finished splitting, it is used for guests. It turns out that during 2017 there were violent protests called guarimbas generated by disagreements with the government system in all states of the country.

En mi urbanización, al igual que en muchas de la ciudad, hubo enfrentamientos a causa de las guarimbas. La guardia lanzaba bombas lacrimógenas y perdigones hacia dentro de la urbanización y uno de esos perdigones de goma impactó mi ventana del segundo piso y le hizo una grieta, pero como ese cuarto es de huéspedes no lo cambié a tiempo y con el pasar de los años se fue agrietando más. A finales del año pasado estaba limpiando la habitación, al mover y sacudir la cortina para desempolvar, con las argollas que tiene el porta cortinas lo termine de romper casi me cae encima, gracias a Dios no paso a males mayores.

The guards threw tear gas bombs and pellets into the urbanization and one of those rubber pellets hit my window on the second floor and made a crack in it, but as that room is a guest room I did not change it in time and as the years went by it cracked more and more. At the end of last year I was cleaning the room, when I moved and shook the curtain to dust, with the rings that the curtain holder has, it almost fell on me, thank God it did not happen to greater evils.

Dejé pasar el tiempo, como tenía su cortina no se notaba que le faltaba un vidrio, el polvo entraba por ahí, hasta que me dispuse hace un mes a colocar el paño (vidrio) a la ventana, el cual se lo presentare luego en un próximo post. Ese día al mover la cortina a un lado para que pudieran montar el vidrio, observé en la parte de arriba de la misma, que el polvo quedaba atrapado. Observé que tenia hongos del sucio que se acumulaba en la parte de arriba, y al tocarla se rompió como galleta, es decir el polvo acumulado, el sol y la humedad se encargaron de podrir la tela de la cortina, por lol cual empecé a buscar un cortina que fuese bonita y no muy costosa.

That day when I moved the curtain to one side so that they could mount the glass, I observed that the dust was trapped on the top of the curtain. I noticed that it had fungus from the dirt that accumulated on the top, and when I touched it, it broke like a cookie, that is, the accumulated dust, the sun and humidity were responsible for rotting the fabric of the curtain, so I started looking for a curtain that was beautiful and not very expensive.

El día de ayer después de visitar varias tiendas de textiles, llegué a un almacén del centro de la ciudad, donde tenían algunas ofertas en cortinas. Las revisé, vi que cumplía con mis exigencias, en el estuche venían dos cortinas una de chiffon del mismo color y la otra de una tela no tan gruesa, me encantó, cada una mide 1,20 de ancho por 2,10 metros de alto, por lo que decidí comprarla, su costo fue de 13$ y el día de hoy con ayuda de mi esposo la coloqué.
