On my previous outing I found a place to rest in Roonache, so today I will be exploring this area to see what I can get. If I manage to find a watchtower I will be able to unlock the map completely and be able to see the sights.

This area is quite large, to get from one shelter to another I need to walk 30 minutes in real life, that's not counting the detours that may arise due to problems on the road or animals that prove to be very easy to hunt. I must say that so far this place has seemed to me the most beautiful in terms of environment, it has areas with a very nice green, there are plains, slopes, buildings, an abandoned church that I found super interesting (I will show you pictures later).

En mi salida anterior encontré un lugar para descansar en Roonache, por lo cual hoy estaré explorando esta zona para ver que puedo conseguir. Si logro encontrar una atalaya podré desbloquear el mapa por completo y poder ver los lugares de interés.

Esta zona es bastante grande, para llegar de un refugio a otro necesito caminar 30 minutos en vida real, eso sin contar los desvíos que pueden surgir por problemas en el camino o animales que se muestren muy fáciles para cazar. Debo decir que hasta ahora este lugar me ha parecido el más hermoso en cuanto al ambiente, tiene zonas con un verde muy lindo, hay planicies, pendientes, edificios, una iglesia abandonada que me pareció súper interesante (luego les muestro fotos).

The time I have been walking around this area I have gotten more moose than usual as well as merrian wild turkeys. Of course I take the opportunity to hunt a few in search of a diamondback, I have never gotten one, so it's about time.

My first kill was a 521Kg male moose, I could see him by his warning calls, I hid very well and set up my rifle, at first I didn't have a clear view but after moving several times I could see his bare chest about 70 yards away, I took aim holding my breath and fired. The shot hit where I wanted and I was able to get a silver trophy.

El rato que tengo caminando por esta zona me eh conseguido más alces de lo habitual así como pavos salvajes merrian. Por supuesto que aprovecho de cazar algunos en busca de una pieza diamante, nunca he conseguido una, así que ya es hora.

Mi primera presa fue un alce macho de 521Kg, lo pude ver por sus llamados de advertencia, me escondí muy bien y preparé mi rifle, al principio no tenía una vista limpia pero después de moverme varias veces pude ver su pecho descubierto a unos 70 metros de distancia, apunté conteniendo la respiración y disparé. El tiro dió donde quería y pude conseguir un trofeo de plata.

Up ahead there was another moose, this one was a female, but seeing that I had an easy shot I didn't hesitate to do it, the funny thing is that while I went in search of claiming the carcass, a rabbit crossed my path, luckily I had my shotgun loaded with small caliber ammunition for small prey. I could say that I got a two in one.

Más adelante había otro alce, éste era una hembra, pero al ver que tenía un tiro fácil no dude en hacerlo, lo curioso es que mientras iba en busca de reclamar el cuerpo, un conejo se atravesó en mi camino, por suerte tenía mi escopeta cargada con municiones de calibre para presas pequeñas. Podría decir que conseguí un dos en uno.

In a clear place, a kind of plain, with only some small bushes in the middle of the place, I heard the mating call of some turkeys, I hid and used my turkey call, I could see two big merriam turkeys running towards where I was, my adrenaline went up, it is still a little complicated to hunt them, most of the times they escape me and that leaves me an unpleasant feeling, so I got a little nervous. I tried to control myself and as they approached I pointed my shotgun at one of them, I thought that since there were two of them it would be difficult to kill them both, but I acted fast, I pressed the trigger on one and quickly aimed at the other and shot. Both dead instantly, one of them a gold trophy, I felt like a Pro, I'm sure my friend @pravesh0 would be proud of me.

En un lugar despejado, una especie de planicie, con solo unos arbustos pequeños en medio del lugar, escuché el llamado de apareamiento de algunos pavos, me escondí y utilicé mi llamado de pavos, pude ver dos grandes pavos merriam corriendo hacia donde me encontraba, mi adrenalina subió, todavía se me complica un poco cazarlos, la mayoría de las veces se me escapan y eso me deja una sensación desagradable, así que me puse algo nervioso. Traté de controlarme y mientras se acercaban apunté con mi escopeta a uno de ellos, pensé que al ser dos sería difícil poder matarlos a ambos, pero actúe rápido, presioné el gatillo en uno y de forma rápida apunté al otro y disparé. Ambos muertos de forma instantánea, uno de ellos trofeo de oro, me sentí como todo un Pro, estoy seguro que mi amigo @pravesh0 estaría orgulloso.

Later on I was able to kill another turkey getting another gold trophy. And then walking towards a place of interest, I heard that a turkey was running away but I didn't see it, so I prepared my shotgun and saw that it was flying above me, I shot a couple of times, the second shot I was able to hit it, a beautiful white turkey with which I also got a gold trophy.

Más adelante pude matar otro pavo consiguiendo otro trofeo de oro. Y luego caminando hacia un lugar de interés, escuché que un pavo estaba huyendo pero no lo vi, así que preparé mi escopeta y vi que estaba volando por encima de mí, disparé un par de veces, el segundo tiro lo pude acertar, un hermoso pavo blanco con el que también conseguí un trofeo de oro.

I was able to hunt several whitetail deer, some silver and one gold, good hunting. To finish the day, I went up to a stand and I could see a female moose approaching, I took aim with my bow to improve my aim and gain experience in this type of weapon, although I doubted if I could kill it with an arrow, moose are very hard to kill with 7mm bullets so I imagine it would be much more difficult with an arrow. However I could see from my position that the pool of blood left by the moose when I hit it with my arrow was quite large, it ran a few meters and fell to the ground dead. The arrow pierced his lung and liver. It is the first time I kill an moose with my bow, I think my hunting level is increasing a lot, I feel very good.

Pude cazar varios ciervos de cola blanca, algunos plata y uno de oro, buena caza. Para finalizar el día, me subí a un puesto de espera y pude ver a un alce hembra acercarse, apunté con mi arco para mejorar la puntería y ganar experiencia en este tipo de arma, aunque dudé si podría matarlo con una flecha, los alces son muy duros de matar con balas de 7mm entonces imagino que sería mucho más difícil con una flecha. Sin embargo pude ver desde mi puesto que el charco de sangre que dejó el alce al pegarle con mi flecha, era bastante grande, corrió unos pocos metros y cayó al suelo muerto. La flecha le perforó un pulmón y el hígado. Es la primera vez que mato un alce con mi arco, creo que mi nivel de cazador esta aumentando bastante, me siento muy bien.
