The pairing of Avina of the Wolf and good teammates

It's the beginning of a new season soon. I must say that it's been a beautiful week, and I enjoyed the whole week here, even though I did not step out of my room for a whole week at least. I enjoy doing one or two things while staying indoors. I've got someone I teach how to play Splinterlands; at least there's nothing bad in teaching someone the little things you know, and of course I told him all I know is just a start because I'm also a novice. I realized that the more I teach, the more I'm also aware of certain things about the game.

Another amazing thing is having a partner that gives me challenges every day on Splinterlands. A friend of mine chatted me up and said he would like us to grow together, so in a day we play nothing less than 10 battles, if not more, and if we fail to do so, one person will pay the sum of 2 Hive for indiscipline. Well, I like being disciplined because that's the only way to make it good in life.
I've played some battles this week, and I must say that for the first time, I won more than I lost. I believe that is an improvement so far.

The rules of the battle are standard, so I can do anything I wish to do. A 28-mana cap was given to me.

I chose Avina of the Wolf as my summoner. I chose it because of its speed and healing ability, so I had to go for healing. Why did I go for healing? After checking my opponent card, I realized he came fully prepared as he has one gladiator card. To win the battle, I need to have two healers.
I chose Bera Dellin in my front row, and I gave him the healing ability. And of course, it will be a long time before they defeat him at all. He has very good health as well.

Also, I choose Ulundin Regulator for its two unique abilities: opportunity and true strike. These two abilities are good in battles, and of course I need them if I need to win.

Furthermore, if I choose Meriput Magician, it won't be enough if I select a card and I don't have her. Apart from the fact that she can attack from anywhere, she's also a healer, and that's an opportunity for Bera Dellin. Because now it has two healing abilities.

Last but not least, I choose Celestial Harpy. For my last card, I chose it because of her two abilities, but honestly, I'm most concerned with the second ability. Flying and opportunity ability.

Having two opportunity abilities and two healers gives me good confidence that I will be able to beat my opponent, no matter how tough he or she might be.
My opponent is a good player, and he also selected a very good card. He would have won the match if I didn't have any opportunity abilities among my cards. The battle lasted for nine good rounds.
