Adulthood seems really meaningful when you're prosperous.

Have you ever sat down and been like, How do you wish we could go back in time? You know, sometimes I ask myself why I grew up so fast.

Although I did not really enjoy my childhood, despite that fact, I still love it more than my adulthood. I meant I could remember not doing anything in my childhood. My mom spoiled me a lot.
There is freedom—well, not freedom—that will make us do whatever we want. But at the same time, we can leave home in the morning and come back in the night, still having food at home, and then eat before going to bed. It is absolutely amazing, because all I've got to think about is what I want to eat whenever I'm hungry.
In fact, I don't get to think about it.

I know food will always be available. Mom will cook, and my sisters were at home to support her in cooking. Since all I've got to do is eat, bring it, and play, no worries at all. I have no single bill to pay, and I used everything for free.
Not until we started growing up. I must say I grew up so fast, or should I say responsibilities caught me up so fast? I should still have enjoyed my childhood, but no, I didn't.

I could remember my first time working. After a month and having collected my salary, I couldn't spend it. I mean, it was so hard for me to even spend money on it. I was thinking of the pain I used to feel to make that money. That was my first time making money for myself. That was the very moment I realized what
responsibilities are. Then I realized how my parents find all means to give me money even though they don't have it.
I realized the pain they passed through every single day. And believe me, that was the first time I told myself I would never ask my parents for anything financial again, because if it can be this hard to make money, it shows the kind of pain they passed through every single day.

Until I grew up and fully became a man, believe me, there's absolutely nothing in adulthood. Just suffering well; let me not say there is nothing. But then, when your parents are financially stable and you realize you have a pillar to rely on, you are good to go.

Adulthood should be beautiful. And of course, it is so beautiful for some people. I could see some of my friends enjoying their adulthood. Traveling from one country to another. Enjoying their lives to the fullest. This is what I wanted for myself before. But then it is what it is.

So, in short, if you have a good background, you will enjoy adulthood. But if you are struggling to make things right in your family and make things better for yourself too, believe me, sincerely, adulthood will be something else for you.
One good thing about adulthood is freedom. You will have your freedom; you can do whatever you want and go wherever you want. But believe me, it will still not work for you if you don't have money at hand.

Decision-making is also part of what we enjoy in adulthood, as you can simply make your own decisions. Don't quote me wrong; if you are still staying with your parents, you might not have this ability, because they will still find a way to make a decision for you.
I have come to realize something about adulthood lately. No matter what you might be going through, always find a way to enjoy your youth. It is very important. Create your own happiness and be happy all the time.

I've been living on my own for 15 years now. At 18, I told my mother it was time for me to go study and find an apartment to experience living alone. The first few years were fun, but now I understand how much my mother helped me and did things for me that I didn't appreciate. So, yes, we need to appreciate our parents.

You have said it all. Adulthood is not easy as we think. But then we just have to keep pushing till we make it through. Thanks for stopping by.

Your heading says it all, adulthood does make a lot of sense when you are prosperous but if it's the other way round hmm 😂.

I had always wished I enjoyed every single aspect of my childhood. When I was a child, I wanted growing up so fast. But now that I am all grown, I want to be a child again.

Same reason I am not in a hurry to get married. I am on a mission to enjoy every single aspect of my singlehood. I won't make the mistake of running ahead of time.

I agree with you; all of us want to grow up so badly that we do not even have any idea what we wish for. Honestly, it could have been nice if we had enough money and other things to enjoy our adulthood.

Take your time and enjoy yourself, but do not forget to get married on time too, I believe everything has advantages and disadvantages. Good luck.
