What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

It is said that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, yes it is true. If only you have been a victim of some sort of sickness that have refused to go medically to the extent that even the learned spoke out that the sickness had defiled medical attention, but then you got your healing only by the laying of hands and a short prayer from a priest your faith in God will really be stronger. I've had my experiences in life, in my search for the truth I have found little or maybe more but not convinced because men most times prefer what they see than what they are told.
Many times, I've had crazy experiences that makes my jaw drop in amazement. Being a mobile human being and a lover of traveling, I've had opportunities to travel to many popular towns and cities and most times I just prefer walking the streets with my legs.

In most cases, I derive joy from walking most especially if I have good canvas on my foot. This was the same case on the day I was walking by the road side before I saw what had sticked to my mind forever. Everything happened in a split second, a new hiace bus on high speed has just sped across from behind me. The road was clear and there's nothing much that could have been considered a danger but all of a sudden just like in a split second, the bus that has been speeding along towards the direction I was headed to, had somehow spinned around with great noises that must have come from the screeching of the tires and have done some flips and landed as if nothing happened with the tires on the ground except for the disfigured structure of the vehicle's body.
Shocked as I was I watched in amazement how situation can change suddenly on earth, how the joy of travelers in the vehicle suddenly turned to horror.

There are some things that are better watched in the movies than being witnessed in reality. It took me some seconds to rap my head around what just happened and it felt like it took eternity. It was just like in a blink of a eyes as it happened before my eyes yet I couldn't explain how the vehicle faced the opposite direction.
Now it was time for rescue mission, surprisingly, I found out the vehicle was packed with people and what truly helped empty the vehicle faster was that many people started jumping through the windows.
Everybody made use of the windows very fast as the doors were not in a good shape. In less than two minutes, the car didn't contain any living soul again.
There were blood stains on the body of the vehicle and I saw those who had made it out of the vehicle and down to the road sit and looking confused but of our attention was placed on the who was lying lifeless in side the vehicle before he was carried out.

The critical injured ones were soon carried away for immediate health care. Through out my life, I've seen videos of accidents take place, I've seen crashed vehicles on the road side but it was my first time to witness an accident with real people happen before my eyes. It would have been a good day for me but it turned to be a terrible day, though I thanked God that most of them only had minor injuries butfear grip my heart because I don't know the situation or status of the one remained motionless and was carried away.
It was a very hard thing controlling my emotions. Before the accident I was hoping to have a good chat with the young lady whom I had exchanged contacts with like fifteen minutes before the incident.
I kept my hope alive that no one will die from the situation and also, I was later able to put myself in order and my emotions in check.
Many things are happening on the road, even in the places you consider to be the safest.

Though since then till now I've seen many more accidents on the road but nothing like that one and also for the lady I got her cellphone number on that day, when I got home. I gave her a call in the night and while we talked, I told her my experiences. After our first call we kept talking on the phone for a while and I loved how good her voice sounds on the phone especially when I persuade her to sing for me with her beautiful voice. Phone calls was all we could do for some time till we soon stopped hearing from each other and the distance was great too as I live in another town and later had to live the state entirely. Today i can control my emotions in certain unplanned events most especially the unpleasant ones. When you know what doesn't kill you makes you feel stronger is when you meet doctors who had been working in the hospital for many years, when the under their watch die they're not moved neither do they flinch in the way they announce sad messages.
