Die Trash Metal Band Ikone Sepultura aus dem Land Brasilien haben vor kurzem die Auflösung der Band angekündigt.
Dies gab das Quartett Frontmann Derrick Green, Gitarrist Andreas Kisser, Bassist Paulo Jr. und Drummer Eloy Casagrande bekannt.
Es wird aber noch eine ausgedehnte Abschiedstournee über den ganzen Erdball geben. Die Tour wird die Trash Band im Jahr 2024 auch nach Europa führen.

• The trash metal band icon Sepultura from the country of Brazil recently announced the band's dissolution.
  The announcement was made by the quartet frontman Derrick Green, guitarist Andreas Kisser, bassist Paulo Jr. and drummer Eloy Casagrande.
  However, there will still be an extensive farewell tour across the globe. The tour will also take the trash band to Europe in 2024.

Die Band schrieb in einem Statement zur Auflösung und zur kommenden Abschiedstournee: „Sepultura haben das Ende des Weges erreicht und sich entschieden, mittels eines bewussten und geplanten Todes zu gehen. Während der nächsten 18 Monate werden wir 40 Jahre an gemeinsamer Existenz mit unseren treuen Fans auf einer Abschiedstournee über den ganzen Erdball feiern. Ein letztes Mal werden wir die Vergangenheit und die Gegenwart zelebrieren. Während dieser Konzert zu unserem 40. Jubiläum werden wir 40 Live-Tracks in 40 verschiedenen Städten aufnehmen und eine riesige Compilation unserer besten, energetischsten Bühnenmomente veröffentlichen."

• The band wrote in a statement about the breakup and the upcoming farewell tour: "Sepultura have reached the end of the road and have decided to leave via a conscious and planned death. Over the next 18 months we will celebrate 40 years of existence together with our loyal fans on a farewell tour across the globe. One last time we will celebrate the past and the present. During this 40th anniversary concert we will record 40 live tracks in 40 different cities and release a huge compilation of our best, most energetic stage moments."
