This is my entry to today's Monomad challenge, the park benches.
Yesterday I woke up wanting to take black and white pictures, I decided to focus on the new park benches and the landscape, rather than the ducks that live there, in the end even if I don't want to I always end up taking some pictures of the ducks because they are fun, plus they always let me get close enough to take a good picture, I guess I have cat feet because they don't even seem to hear me approaching, or they just don't see me as a threat.
Anyway, when I arrived to the park I saw this person sitting contemplating the landscape and I liked the scene, even after a while of taking pictures I returned to this same bench and I sat for a few minutes enjoying the sound of nature, the freshness of the sunrise and the tranquility of the place, some squirrels came closer but not enough to take pictures of them since I only had the 50mm lens with me.

So began a short trip through the park, and I say short because this time I decided not to go all over the place, I just wanted to enjoy the moment even if I couldn't take many pictures, but to be honest I think sometimes I focus too much on " searching" rather than enjoying the moment.

I don't know, maybe it's because of the stress of life and the problems that inevitably come to us, but I really enjoyed this place and the benches, but especially for the landscape that made me think and reflect on several things I need to do and change, and my intention with these photographs is that you can also imagine yourself enjoying this place, of course as I said I did not stay with the idea only, so I sat at least 5 minutes in some of these benches, in some it was much more.

I had already photographed the next bench the previous time I visited the park, but I am still not satisfied with the result, I know that sometimes I change some colors in the photographs to make them similar to reality or to make them similar to my reality and how I see the world, but I'm not very used to change things like what actually exists in the place and at that moment, and this bench is driving me crazy, the position it is in makes it come out sideways in the pictures so even if I don't like it I will probably go back and move it to make everything in level haha.

Enough of the benches, this is the last picture so take a good look at them and decide in which one you would like to spend the next few minutes, close your eyes and imagine yourself there, listening to the soft wind over the leaves of the trees, a woodpecker is tapping its beak on the wood creating a sound that slowly relaxes you even more, you feel how the problems move away from you and you let yourself loose in the moment, maybe I'm not very good at describing these things but I hope you got the idea.

It was time to change the focus point, so going back to the woodpecker, I noticed some nests that are in the trees around me, so I didn't want to forget some of the places and that's why I took the following picture, then I saw a plant that can grow as a tree called azalia and I also decided to take a picture, in this area there are a lot of squirrels so hopefully next time I will be able to take a picture of the landscape together with some of these rodents, although I already imagined those pictures in color, that's how I work, I just need to keep going and wait for the moment when what I just imagined will happen.

And we come to the end, to the damned ducks that cannot be missing in the photographs when I visit the park, many people visit the place and bring a lot of food for them and although my nieces and I also like to feed them, the truth is that when I go to take pictures of them I try to avoid feeding them so as not to alter their behavior, if you feed them they become chaotic fighting to eat as much as possible, so I better approach slowly and pretend I'm not interested, that way I don't scare them.

This is a beautiful duck and it is different from the others, in fact I think it is called Mexican duck and as you can see I think it was cold, or simply is the posture that many ducks adopt when they are resting, as I say I move slowly and looking somewhere else, that's why they let me get close although that does not mean that they stop seeing me, as if they were saying: Stay there monster!
But it's something I enjoy doing every day, and you connect with nature?

Thank you @ackhoo and @qurator !
The photos convey that the place is a very pleasant place to retreat for a while and listen to yourself.
Greetings
So the photos did their job, thank you.
It has been a pleasure.
