This is my entry to today's Monomad Challege, The Iguanas in the Tree.

Today I want to share with you the following pictures, lately the heat has returned to the city and that has prevented me from going out at a good time to take pictures, so I have not made new images because the parks where I go to walk and take pictures are surrounded by many trees and that causes me to have to let the ISO up too much.

Now with the new heat wave I can only go out either too early in the morning or too late at night, and that complicates even more the capture of good pictures, but for the moment I have these photos that I want to share, let's start.

Iguanas have something that I like a lot, it's not only their taste because to be honest, more than once I have had to hunt and eat these reptiles, but their appearance reminds me a lot of a carefree person and at the same time someone sarcastic, always looking at you from above as if they were superior, I don't know, it's an idea that I've always had of them, but I definitely like to take pictures of them, although it becomes quite difficult to get a good shot.

As for example in this second picture, when it realized that I was pointing my camera at it, it decided to start escaping, it was hiding as best as it could to protect itself and I understand it, that's why I had to take the picture even though there was a leaf between my camera and the iguana, hence the strange effect in the center of the image.

I was not giving up and since it is always better to have three pictures instead of two, I waited for a long time until I was able to take this last picture.

I didn't know what to expect, as a little further on I found this huge male feeding on the ground, but as soon as he saw me he climbed a tree to get out of my reach, it was a real pity and now that I think about it if I hadn't invested so much time in the other iguana maybe I would have had more time to take pictures of this specimen, but well, I didn't know until I saw him.

This specimen has a huge size, about 5 or 6 feet long, that's why it was quite difficult to get a good picture where you could appreciate its size, maybe next time I will use a better focal length.

The more I watched it the higher it climbed up the tree, moving away to never return.

Luckily I managed to take the following portrait, a photograph full of ISO noise but I hope I was able to capture the essence of the reptile, soon I will go out again in search of it, wish me luck.
