My entry to today's Monomad Challenge, I took a lot of pictures today.
Normally when I go out to take pictures I avoid carrying more than one lens with me for safety and comfort reasons, so I avoid having to decide with which lens to take the picture, I just concentrate on taking the picture without thinking about the focal length.
On the one hand it's good, but on the other hand it's a disaster because sometimes I miss the opportunity to take the picture I want, but well, that forces me to come back another day and that's it, plus avoiding changing lenses outdoors has also helped me to prevent the sensor of my camera from getting dirty, and in the city where I live there is a lot of dust everywhere.
But since we are in the rainy season, I said: what the hell! I took two lenses and took the pictures, many of them, here I will show only a small part which are the pictures I selected to post in black and white, let's start.
The cat in the park
Personally I don't like cats, I'm more on the dog side, but seeing that the cat was there I decided to take advantage of the moment and take the picture, I don't like cats because I recognize hunters and psychopaths like me haha, and this cat was in observation mode waiting for the right moment to attack fish, frogs or birds, I'm not sure what it was waiting for, as soon as I took the pictures I continued on my way.
The following two pictures are for you to appreciate the place, these pictures were taken with the kit lens of my Canon M50, a fantastic lens especially when it comes to recording video, of course for the most demanding it may not meet your expectations, but honestly it is a good lens to use at any time.
The zoom that I hardly use.
For some strange reason I have stopped using my 55-250mm zoom lens and I think it is a mistake, today I went in search of bird pictures and I got quite a few that I will show in the next post, I started taking this picture to see how my pulse is to take pictures at a distance, luckily the lens has stabilization and my pulse is already much better.
I came across a hummingbird, and although it is not the best picture I must admit, it motivated me to keep waiting and taking more pictures that as I say, I will show later because I don't want to spend too much time editing, today there were almost 100 pictures of which I must decide which ones to edit and which ones to discard to avoid wasting time.
I quite liked the sage flowers because of the contrast with the background of the image, I hope you like it too.
And finally to finish today's session, I saw this lonely person, unfortunately it was a back shot but you already know that I don't like to take pictures of faces, to protect people's privacy but also to prevent them from changing their attitude in front of the camera, see you in the next post.
I like the last photo, it represents everyday life and at the same time. I love it, and the black and white gives it a different touch.
Thank you very much, there are always some pictures that inspire us or remind us moments of our life, make us think about the past, present and future, make us philosophize, in fact I'm working on two pictures, but I need a third image to complete the post.
Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!
Thank you
