Candid photography at Platanitos beach, my entry to today's Monomad Challenge.

Today's photographs have a little editing, the truth is that I felt it unnecessary to add a lot of drama, and I enjoyed them with just a few adjustments.

One of the advantages of living in a city close to the beach is that I can visit the beach as many times as I want, I just get in my car and drive 38 miles and I'm there, the beach is always beautiful but I wouldn't want to live there because I would surely be pissed off to see so much beauty every day, or not?

This time I visited a beach called platanitos, which in English could be something like little banana, is a simple beach where there are not many visitors, yet it has at least 8 restaurants where you can get to eat, and the tables are very close to the beach to enjoy the experience.

But I didn't go to take the classic instagram photos showing what I ate, actually you guys know I love candid photography so my models were the people enjoying the place, I like to see what they do when they don't know someone is taking pictures of them.

There is even space for small pets, perhaps not the most hygienic but still they too can enjoy the place.

As I said, there are not many tourists visiting the place, especially in the middle of the week, so for the musicians it can be a real problem that there are no visitors, but they are still there in the hope that someone will request a special song and that way they can earn a little money.

The people who visit the place from far away places like Guadalajara for example, are always looking to take souvenirs of the site, photographs are not enough so we will always see them collecting shells along the beach, with these three photographs I end today's post, I hope you liked it and that it has brought you good memories of the beach.
