Monoarc's snapshot: Street portraits. Different identities.
Capturing the mood on the street has been one of the most compelling ways to communicate something about your environment. This can be difficult if you are behind a lens and expect your subjects to react in dramatic ways, so how do photographers capture stunning photographs of people in sections and get something new?
Street photography is a genre of photography that depicts or seeks candid and mundane moments in public without manipulation. It captures an ‘in-between’ condition: when people are not posing for a photo but not quite going about their daily lives either.
When you take a photograph of something new, you transpose a new personality onto the frame. These urban pictures are different from what most mainstream photos portray and give an alternative view of city life that's hidden from the people looking down from their windows from a gilded panorama on this sometimes lonely and enclosed space just wide enough to fit a pathway bursting with foliage and narrow enough for only one person to walk through at a time.
Dear @monoarc, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a bit more support to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.
