The Surprise Christmas Beauty and Gift I was creating

Hello Hive

Today I was able to wrap up the first Christmas surprise ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ gift. I have been sewing for a little girl. I could have wrapped this up yesterday since I didn't have much to do, but I had to visit my sister and console her over the loss of my niece. She lost her bundle of joy during delivery some days ago and has not been taking it easy. It is really painful to stay pregnant for 9 months only to lose the child at the time to bring forth. She has been down and depressed for a while now, and every attempt to cheer her moods proves abortive. Now my time is divided between going to farms for harvest, keeping her company at home, and also the many loads of Christmas gifts of sewing to be done.

When I don't have much to give people for Christmas, I can at least share my skills and take time to sew free and lovely designs of new clothes for people.

This is the first of its kind for this year. If paradventure this little girl here doesn't get anything to wear for Christmas, this will come very handy.

I didn't mind spending some bulk to make her clothes; she is such a sweet child, and I'm fond of her. She is a best friend to my little niece, and this is just how you will see them running around the house and neighborhood. I needed some accessories, beads and zippers, linings, and crinoline; they cost me only $1.5, and with that, I started sewing her clothes.

Here I have cut the bodices and lower flair.

Then I sewed in the crinoline to the lining and base of the flare; this will give it the ball gown effect I desire.

That is done. I began beading the upper bodice. Beads seem a little cheaper for embroidery and decorative accessories; hence, I chose to use beads to save us some money.

After the beading, I continued sewing the dress.
Attached the zipper and then a little ironing here and there.

When I was done, I walked down about 30 minutes to visit the family so that my little girl could try out her outfit.

What do you think of this?

Her mom and everyone were surprised to see this, not knowing that I had saved some fabric to make an outfit for her girl. She was even more impressed that I did spend my money to do this, including the beading and decorative things I have added to the outfit.

Everyone in the house was thankful and prayed for me. I can see how her other older sister and teenager were eyeing her dress. Maybe I could make something for them too, but that depends on if I am able to get a few ยฃยขโ‚ฌ$$$$$$$$๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚
