Massive growth of my fluted pumpkins and Some important Medicinal veggies You should grow
Hello Hive
I have been looking for the time I could begin to harvest and eat my veggies in a daily basis and that time has finally come
The leaves are so large and fresh that you won't even believe that I have grown these in a sack. What had drawn my attention to the readiness of this veggies for harvest was an incident that had occurred to me in the hospital that yesterday.
So we were in the hospital when a major test called PVC was used to check the percentage level of sick people's blood. Having been in the hospital for quite some days now, I was beginning to feel tired and exhausted. Later in the afternoon, some chilly feelings and dizziness joined.
Then it occurred to me that it's been years since I last checked my blood level. I never had a reason to check since low blood count has not been my sickness for once. While we were chatting with other caregivers, they insisted that I go check my PCV to ensure that all was well with me.
Upon reaching the line for sample collection, the queue there equally discouraged me, and instead of that, I headed home last night to seek alternative means to boost my blood levels rather than nursing the feeling of having a low blood level and opting for a transfusion. .
I always remember my mom squeezing and giving me the juice of fluted pumpkins mixed with malt. For some reasons, we know that this veggie is a blood booster.
Thank goodness I have some of it in my garden. I plucked some and repeated the process.
Waking up this morning, I feel better, and all the dizziness and light feelings are all gone. It is not as if this works like magic; nonetheless, taking tiny bits of the leaves will always keep okes blood at a good and normal level.
Another vegetable that boosts blood is one that I have recently been introduced to, "Jatropha tanjorensis," called "Hospital to farm in locally." . The local populace here believes that when you eat the leaves consistently, it keeps you away from as many sicknesses that lead people to the hospital.
I equally know this to be a number one blood booster and have been looking for where to get the plant around so that I can plant some of it in my garden.
Having scent leaves here in my garden has equally been a blessing; it adds both flavors to my meals and keeps away stomach aches and disorders. I can't remember when last I had diarrhea or any stomach disorder of such.
Ginger and garlic are my next target of additions to this garden, including the Jatropha tanjorensis, which I desperately need right now.
I believe that you don't need me to tell you a better story on the privilege of keeping a garden and these medicinal veggies. If you happen to have a tiny space in your house, you can try growing these plants, and in places where there is no space, you can grow some of them on broken plates and/or buckets.
