Regardless of the ceaseless growth in technology/machine made items which are now been enhanced in various ways using these technology's there is still room for human input and man made items. Machines could work and produce thousands of clothes in a split second including ones with designs that we cannot resist buying but you will still find people who will prefer to wear outfits made completely by human hands because they cherish the love,affection and dedication included into making those clothes.

What people sell in the fashion industry is their passion and love for creativity, the expression of different kind of feelings embedded into the outfits they make and not just for the singular reason of sewing/designing 🪡 🧵clothes to make money.

No matter how much I try to make use of AI to generate some specific designs there is always something in my inner mind which I believe that the machine isn't bringing out right until I use my hands and head 😀

Haven't you seen paintings that have sold for millions of naira giving so much value to something simple and ordinary, it is not about the beauty of the painting in this case but the value we place on such paintings. The meaning behind why it was drawn/painted that way and like they often say that picture tells a thousand words.

Thesame situation applies to my job as a fashion designer we make certain outfits and sell them for so much not because of what they worth but our time, effort and creative human mindset employed into making these design.
Outfits made by machines in their numbers and in the shortest time will be priced less because they are valued less.
Regardless of technology people will always love, cherish and appreciate human inputs in numerous task.

Robots and AI should only enhance creativity.

Since the advents of creative designs and pattern making in fashion using AI I have remained perplexed at how AI works to bring out our deepest imaginations into reality. It gets easy to predict the outcome of whatever we want to make from the beginning since pictorial presentation of what we need is made visible even before we start work.

Sewing creative designs makes me think deeper and expand my creativity and imagination seeking better ways to improve whatever AI had to bring. Fashion never fades and we have been working on age long existing background and foundations in fashion. There is no room to feel threatened by whatever Technology has to bring. This is one of the lessons I learnt from one of Nigerians top designers who's wedding was the talk of the town lately. She has deployed very ancient fashion and used threads/ropes to design something unique and unimaginable, in a matter of moments everyone flooded her timeline to learn the new design only to find out that it was a improvement to a deployed ancient ways of design. That was quite impressive.

I have learnt and imported alot with the new technology and do not see myself loosing my job place because of this.
