Hivestyler camisole diy, preparation for summer heat.

Hello Hive

Beautiful new week to all of us on hive and especially you my dearest needlework family, hope September has been nice to us so far 😊.

The weather is usually hot or cold depending on season and like we all know, the tide is about to change and the cold will soon give way to that hot sunny and uncomfortable days.
As season change, so does you dressing.
We need less of thick cloth and son thing free that won't absorb heat.
Camisole do indoor purpose will soon be flying around the market for sale and been a Needleworker we all know it is less expensive when we make clothes for ourselves rather than buy expensive ones from the market.
Besides we get to sew our design of choice.

It was time for my shorts to get some matching camisole and this was the simplest diy design I made taping the edges with bias to add more light and color to it.

I used my measurements but ended up making the top much longer than what I wanted.
Never knew 23"will be that long.
To make something fitted and sitting above the hip or just below the navel is the most fitting and attractive camisole you can make just in case you decide to make one.

We can all do well and try to take care of ourselves body and appearance at all times and season.
Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated for summer.

I loved this work...the fabric looks super soft and the color is great. Very sporty and elegant at the same time.

(Edited)

It looks thick, though its really not thick and I just used this to practice, I will soon shop for some more thinner fabrics though I made a little mistake sewing this on this one.

Thanks for checking in.

Hello Monica. This fabric looks very beautiful, I thought it was a bit warm, it would never have occurred to me to use it in summer. This outfit turned out well and even if you think it's a bit long, I'm sure there are always scissors at hand :D

Cheers!

It looks so nice on you.
It is true what you said about the weather and the clothes, here in my native country I donΒ΄t have this problem because everytime it is hot and sunny, but when I was in PerΓΊ, we have to change clothes as the seasons change.
Thank for sharing your project with us.
