Creating Some beauty for Christmas and an unexpected Shopping Experience
Hello, beautiful people
It has been a beautiful week already, as I was privileged to read through the majority of our creative work since the week began, and I must confess that I can sense that everyone is in the Christmas mood already. It's that time of the year full of joy and celebrations. It's more pleasing to know that every creative and crafty person here will be involved in making our environment and people beautiful.
The beauty around this season is usually our craft work, both to decorate our environment and to make beautiful clothes for our people. Isn't that an excellent one for us all?
Gradually I am equally beginning to activate and begin my Christmas sewing, and this is one of the first Christmas outfits I will be making for a little girl.
Remember how I posted about her mom not trusting my sewing? I have been able to convince her with evidence using that single outfit I have sewn for her; it changed everything. We have a little piece of the fabric remaining, and as I heard her lament about what her girls will wear for Christmas due to financial constraints, I want to surprise her with a gift outfit.
She wasn't aware of her left-over fabric, and if peradventure she wasn't able to afford any fabrics for the children's Christmas wear, I can make something lovely and useful for the season.
I took out the fabric and cut a flair from it here. I want to sew this into a ball dress.
Having cut the flair, I guessed what the size range of her measurements will be and cut out the bodies using the remaining sequence fabrics.
While doing that, I realized that I was short on supplies and accessories; the scissors I was using were already 4 years old, blunt, and needed replacement. It was giving me a headache cutting the sequence.
I equally needed Linings beads and other accessories too; I couldn't make the cloth without that, and within a tight budget, I headed to the store.
I bought a new pair of scissors, the first one in 4 years, got thread and zippers, lining and beads, plus some other needed items.
It was then time to ask for the current prices of fabrics. All manner of lovely fabrics are here, and you know you must understand that attraction between tailors and fabrics.
Everything was calling my attention. I had to leave the store in a hurry in order not to run into debts, as I have spent all the $6 I went out with.
I can see that fabrics are really expensive and totally understand the challenge of why our parents are worried about not being able to get their children some new clothes for the up coming celebration.
Accessories here we're just so beautiful and my imagination were running wild as everything was screaming "pick me pick me" 😍😁😂
It was already getting dark when I got home and can no longer finish up the outfit tonight, but hopefully by tomorrow I will have stitched a lovely dress for one sweet child. 👗 👗 I believe that a lot of us are really marking out our creative plans for Christmas. My best wishes for everyone.

Hi dear @monica-ene it seems to me you did a nice labor of love for the girls with that party dress, plus you went shopping to complete the job, what a nice gesture, the shopping and accessories the store had, they were tempting.🙂❤️🤗
Really tempting dear, thanks for stopping by
You did great dear, sometimes our new customers just want to see how good we are in sewing in sewing before trusting us, it is nice you were able to convince her, to use the remaining fabric to create another beauty as a surprise for her girl will definitely attract her more, I love it, weldone dear.
