A DIY TOP FROM A HALF YARD OF FABRICS.
Hello Hive
Happy new month family, I wish that above all we may find the peace love and happiness we seek in life, may the new month comfort soothe and bring solace to our heart.
We are starting a new page and chapter its good to always look back, reset our goals and to stand up from every fall of failure.
Let's ride to the sun for its another opportunity to begin afresh.
Today I tried to utilize a half yard of fabric to see what kind of a top I can make from it and this is what i have got.
It was from the left over fabrics of a jacket am still working on.
After getting my bodice out successfully, I had just a 9" width by 34" length of fabrics not enough to make some pleat so I attached it to my bodice at the waist with extra allowances.
To give this some fitting shape I simply sewed in an elastic thread unto the waist Seam allowance
That was done and a simple and beautiful new top was ready.
Am gonna leave this as sleeveless, no fabrics for sleeves but I could improvise and use a net if I wish but I do like it this way for now, I might change my mind though .
Now am gonna walk into a new month with a new top, new vibe and new energy.
May we find whatever we are looking for in this new month.
Cheers to newness 🍷🍸🍰🍥🍦🍡🍨🍥🍪🍮🎂🍵☕🍭
