It is barely few hours to my birthday 🙈 and unlike everyone else I am still busy with unrelated activities. Compared to my friends who would have gone for a shot to get some quality pictures to post on birthays.

I am here laughing and smiling at the memories of the good bad and ugly experiences so far.
Birthdays are a moment of reflection for me not about the number of years we add but the achievements we have made in those years. .
Monica isn't the party type no wonder I have never had a proper birthday party in the past.
All I do is cook rice ad chicken for my friends who will be flocking around the house to greet me, hehe

While I am surrounded with so many set of beautiful you will often see them plastering makeups on my pimple covered face and trying to get a beautiful picture they can post on their timeline to wish me a happy birthday with. 😆😃

Thinking about these made me smile and fulfilled that my life is a reflection of the impacts I have made in the life many of others.
People come around me with one good testimony of how we have been a blessing to each other.

The first birthday surprise I have received for this year is this pretty dress.

Deborah as one of my besties holds a special place in my heart. She knew how birthdays were like for me and even though I have numerous sets beautiful fabrics at home I may never get to sew any flamboyant new outfits for myself.

With this in mind she pushed herself out of her busy schedule to cut a simple yet trendy bubu dress for me.
Having a 48hrs journey to catch up with on her way to compulsory national youth service camp on Thursday this week. She took out of her preparation time some minutes to cut this outfits. she was able to cut the outfit but couldn't complete sewing it.

Hence she packaged everything and used an hour to drop by my house to present this to me, After wishing me a happy birthday in advance she apologized for not been able to complete my outfits.
Apology accepted because I totally understood. The whole of Thursday and Friday Was used for her journey and you can see her here in camp already dressed up for the exercise after 48hrs on the road.

And yes she sent me the very first picture she took in camp to my WhatsApp page.

Completing the dress wasn't a difficult task for me.
I joined all the seams and did further adjustments where necessary.

That is done and I am still waiting for a little power supply to iron this out.
I am thinking of possible embroidery but if that didn't work, the dress is beautiful on its own.

You will find this style on the internet, it is simple yet covered my physique that has lost weight from farm work already 😆😆.
You loss some weight when farming work is at its peak and gain those weight back once we are done with farming season for the year, it is a normal routine 🤓😂🤓...

So who is coming for rice and chicken tomorrow, hopefully the pastor will release us from church in time to prepare some 🙈🤗
