The Urge To Know More
I believe curiosity isn't based on age, whether young or old we all tends to sake knowledge of certain things at a particular time. But, the most annoying and funniest curiosity happens during ones childhood; kids tends to be curious of almost everything they see, smell or touch. They want to know why things happen or didn't happen, sometimes the urge to know more about things always land them in trouble if they aren't careful.
The urge to know more about a thing can be in two ways, it can be for good in other to improve ones knowledge about a thing. For example, someone can be curious on how to find solution to a particular assignment given in school. And with a disturbed mind, the person can go to any length in search of knowledge on how to go about it for his or her own personal improvement.
Also in skills acquisitions, a curious apprentice will always ask the boss numerous questions on how things are done and they are sometimes difficult to satisfy. On the other hand, curiosity can be bad, it can be an odd urge which is out of ordinary. And if care is not taken the demand to have the knowledge, investigate or explore in a particular thing might land one in trouble.
For instance, during my University days, I heard of a guy that nearly ran mad because of a book he came across during the renovation of his grandfather's house. It happened that he saw a book in his grandpa's inner room, he was curious of what's written in it so he picked it without the knowledge of his father. When he got to his hostel, he frequently read words in it which has magical powers, so he started misbehaving and seeing invisible beings.
His room mate had to alert his parents when he noticed the change in his behaviors and also saw how he frequently read an old book which doesn't tally with his course of studying. This guy almost ran mad because of the enchantments that he read in the book, he was revived by God's grace because he had already embraced insanity at the time. His curiosity on the book he found landed him in bigger trouble and he later regretted his foolish action.
In my own case, when I was much younger, I remembered how I broke my game pad all because I have the urge to know what's in it that's making Super Mario and Mortal Combat to move on the TV whenever I play the game.
I was curious to know what the producer put in the small pad that's making it to work very well. In my mind, I was like how can just a small pad have only cord with small buttons and will be controlling the game I'm playing 🤣. So I concluded that I will open it one day when my parents aren't around.

My prayer was answered one day that my parents went out and left I and my siblings. So I took my Dad's screw driver to open the pad to see what's in it then couple it back without his knowledge. In the process of opening it, I broke the pad back casing which affected the wires that was connected to the pad panel. I didn't know it was glued and screwed, I started crying because my curiosity had landed me into trouble.
I knew if I wasn't beaten, I would be banned from playing games for weeks if paraventure another pad was bought. When my Dad got back home he shook his head and started laughing but later blamed me for been destructive and that I should have asked him what I intend to know in the pad. He said he would have opened a spoilt game pad for me to see what's in it.
Luckily I wasn't beaten but was banned from touching any pad for weeks. Since then, I learnt to ask people questions on things I'm curious of. I don't just go ahead to do things out of curiosity.
Thanks for reading!
A perfect example, A Curiosity can lead you to disaster, but as human beings, we can think of a lot of things, until or unless they become real and came in front of ne.

Tour dad is nice oo. I was expecting you to say that they beat you sef😅. But ideally kids shouldn't be punished severely for things like that Shaa.
It's crazy how we used to think as kids. Now you broke the game pad. I just hope it wasn't too expensive as at then.
I enjoyed reading this!
