IS LOVE ONLY SWEET WITH MONEY?
Hello Hivians, hope you have been good? My entry to #Hivelearners W21E01 which I tagged Is Love Only sweet with money?
Love is the most adorable thing to experience in life, it is good to love and to be loved. Love is an intense feeling of affection towards someone which I believe should be mutual without any interior motives.
But nowadays, the reverse is the case. Love is now directly proportional to money that is, when there is money there will be sweet love, without money love goes bitter. Therefore, the higher your money the higher the love. Love has really turned to another thing entirely, it is now like a commodity that can be bought with money.
Both male and female are guilty of this because everyone want to live in luxuries no one want to be tagged a pauper. Ladies are running after wealthy guys while guys are also running after sugar mummies. Even without knowing the source of the wealth both sexes want to wear latest designs, ride exotic cars, use latest gadgets and so on.
Lots of ladies are been physically assaulted in their relationship but they can not call it off because he pays their bills and he might change in the future. Many youths had been lead astray because of this excessive love for money while some had gone to the life beyond.
For me; money can not buy love and it does not make love sweeter, it can only buy pretense and endurance. When any of the spouse experience financial instability the sweet love will go sour. This shows it is a deceitful love.
So what is needed to make love sweeter?
- Care: When you care, you pay attention to your spouse and in the process your affection grows stronger.
- Patience: patience and perseverance works together. When you persevere every mountain can be surmounted and you can find solutions to your difficulties.
- Respect: Having high admiration for one's spouse is the sweetest. Never belittle your spouse in the presence of others and each other.
- Time: Spending quality time together is the beginning of love. At times spending time with someone you love is enough for easy bonding.
- Truthfulness: This is doing away with lies, not having secret at all. Been truthful leads to total support for one another even in time of storm.
All these and more are what is needed to make love sweeter, do not get me wrong, money is needed to be made. But it should not be the basis or the foundation in which love should be build.

Well, honestly money is actually needed to make love sweeter, although it isn't and shouldn't be a basis for foundation for love.
It is necessary for sustenance and enjoyment of a good love life.

even after finding true love, money can make love sweeter and enrich the relationship.

You've said it all, money only makes love sweeter in a true love relationship. In a money based courtship, a battered spouse is only consoling him/herself based on the wealth that's all.

Love without care, patience, respect, time and truthfulness is merely a fling. True love cannot exist without these foundations.
It is sad that people are willing to forfeit true love for things that they want. Material possessions are what some individuals aim at when chasing people with good financial standing. It never really lasts, and someone is left to be ashamed and hurt.
However, as you have stated, money is important, but should not be the basis on which a relationship should be based. I do think it makes loving a little easier, if you would agree with me. You would have the issue tied with financial need a little solved.

Yeah... these virtues you mentioned here are indeed important. But money can't buy them. There are those who can pretend to have them, but money cannot buy them.
