Hard work improves talent.

Hello everyone, hope you are in sound health? I wish everyone well in your endeavours.

I believe everyone in their various fields either those into white collar jobs or those in various businesses have the desire to be successful, no one aims to fail. In life, to achieve success one has to put in ones best to get to the top. The road to success is filled with lots of challenges in which it's only those that are determined can scape through.

Talent and hard work are inseparable, they are essential keys needed to attain success. People that are naturally gifted and doesn't dim it fit to work on their gift will have themselves to blame later in the future because, there will definitely be a better and easier way to find solutions to problem in the said skill that they do not know. In sure a case, their skills would have become outdated.

Although, Some people are naturally gifted in such a way that when you teach them, they learn faster than others. When you see such a person in couple of months, they will be better than the person that taught them. This shows that a lot of hard work has been put in place for improvement on what the person had learnt previously.

My experience with a neighbour

Some years back I had a neighbour who is a hairstylist and she is very good at what she does. I was amazed when I learnt that she didn't learn the skill from anywhere, she just started playing with her dummy when she was little and she became perfect in plaiting hair.

Never will you find her idle, she's always busy that time because she's very popular in my area. Her popularity never last long because she didn't have time to improve herself. Problem started when there are modern styles and she doesn't know how to go about it.

Source

She was caught in the web of not improving her knowledge in hairstyling this hindered her a lot and has now made her an outdated hairstylist who can only plait hair for the elderly. She now has a reduced patronage from the younger ones and also a less profits. So it a thing to be talented, it another thing to search for more knowledge for the betterment of the talent.

Can talent really lead one to success without hard work?

NO! talent without hard work is a waste of time. Is just like what the Holy book says that faith without work is dead.

When you are talented and you did not work on it, you will remain beneath and can never reach the top.

In my line of work as a seamstress, I do engage in advance sewing classes both online and physical classes to acquire knowledge on modern trending styles to improve my understanding.

I believe to become an expert in a skill or in ones talent, determination, perseverance and hard work is needed to be successful in it.

It's the efforts that you put in search for more knowledge to improve your talent that summed up to your hard work.

In conclusion
Talent without work is like a building with faulty foundation, as times goes on there will be a collapse. To improve your talent learn to work on it in a hard way so as to be successful.

I am a teacher, and can fully agree with this. I have talented students, but when they don't want to practice or just don't stick to working habits, they don't make the improvement they could. On the other hand, those who have a bit less talent, but work hard, show determination and perseverance, improve a lot faster :)

There is a saying in my country. Drop by drop becomes a lake. (many a little makes a mickle) If we really want to do something, even the smallest drop is valuable. If we can accumulate even a drop every day, both as a job and as a production product we utilize our talent.

The atrophy of talents is another issue. As you say, talent means nothing without work, even proper and disciplined work.

Thank you my dear, I am with you all the way, reading your post gave me joy my dear, you have said it all talent without hardwork is a waste of time and that means they are inseparable to be precise..

There is chance of making it purely by hardwork to those who refuse to discover their talent but to us who knows our talent and we still decide to not work hard, with time it will be dormant and dead...

Talent and hard work are inseparable, they are essential keys needed to attain success.

This sentence up here concluded my reading my dear...
They are indeed an essential Key to attain Success..

And for the girl who brought her inner talent out by herself and she refused to work explore and work hard, it is bound for her to get lost in time, and thank God she didn't loose her talent and still making penny with it when she could have just explored and work hard to learn what is in vogue and by now, fortune should be smiling on her...

Good job my dear...
Look forward to seeing me often...

Impressive write ups. I have many talents I need to develop so that it won't be a waist. Thanks so much for using this illustration of your neighbor who is a stylist but refused to develop her skills when modern stylist began to reign. That means we need to develop what we have in other to benefits more

Very true, if one doesn't develop, one would be stagnant and outdated. Thanks for visiting friend

I like to see talent as crude oil that needs to be refined through hard work to become a refined oil. Many people are talented really, but talent can only take you so far. To reach one's destination, hard work is also needed. This is even more relevant in this modern age we live in.

Sure you must learn to put in hardwork which comprises determination, focus, goal driven, consistency to bring your talent into the world and without all this that very talent you have will go to waste.

I love your topic
Hardwork improves talents
Hard work fuels talent
Hard work drives talent
Whilst my stay in lagos, I met a young woman naturally talented in making hair. If she touches your hair, she rebrands the whole thing and gives you a quality look.
Funny enough she never developed this talent and instead she goes around begging people for food and money.

Whereas there are so many that can't even make hair but they will sit out in public with stools and combs and peopleswill troop in. You know how hustle in lagos is like and the high price of living
She would have made a lot of money from her talent but there was no hard work.

I love your write up

Talent without work is like a building with faulty foundation, as times goes on there will be a collapse.

Oh yes! Hard work improves talent.
My hostel mate is just like the neighbor you mentioned. She's a good hairstylist and she never took lessons for it. She just started doing it and she got better every day.

Unlike your neighbor, she didn't relax. Instead, she worked hard and improved her skills.
