159 LOH: My Favorite Holiday

I believe we all are different in what we like and termed as been favourite. Likewise me also, I have my likes and dislikes. Doubtlessly one of my favorite holiday of the year is December time.

The Christmas season is an incredible time of the year that every where bubbles with joy which gladens my heart to the fullness. The foods, decorations, colours, lightings and music makes the period enjoyable.

Christmas season is a special moment in our lives (in my family), it's the period which we have full house. Myself and siblings will be back home to celebrate the joyous season with my parents. I also attend lots of Carols during this period. I attend different carols in different denominations just to hear the choirs sing melodiously unto God for the gift of Christ.

Besides that, My Mom is a person who likes to cook, so she's the family official chef during the Christmas season. Myself and siblings are the assistant that helps her out in the kitchen. During the Christmas season, we tend to eat delicious home made meals from Mom which we all had missed in the cause of the year. I'm looking forward to this year's celebration by God's grace.

My family's favorite meal during the Christmas season is jollof rice or fried rice and also my Dad's favorite local meal which is Iyan with Egusi soup (Pounded Yam with melon soup) couple with numerous assorted meats and drinks.

Something that I also love about Christmas is the gifts I received and also share with others. The parties and various hang outs I attend with my friends and loved ones also makes me long for the Christmas season. Also, my younger sister likewise bakes different flavors of cakes and pancakes during the season as well.

Once it's the 11th month of the year, I get so excited. It's very cute how everyone in the family do hope to have more fun and also collect gifts that surpass the previous Christmas season. I just love the December Holiday because it always fun filled. For these and many more reasons, December is my favorite holiday of the year.

Christmas is my favorite holiday to, and Mostly cause that a time where you get together with friends and family. I have a big family so christmas and new year is a time where I get to meet my cousins and family and it is my favorite 💕
