Most times songs expressed things that words alone cannot.

Most of the songs are written in prayer form to help give a great connection with God. Songs are meant to be joyful and give solemn reflection. Songs are written to express love, loss, faith, and hope.

Most of the times I don't know what I would have done without the existence of these songs.

My Favorite Song

What a friend we have in Jesus

The song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" was written by Joseph M. Scriven in 1855.

The first time I heard this song was in my church sacred songs and solo I was curious to know the lyrics. It has a deeper meaning than you might imagine. I make sure I sing it everyday of my life.

If you focus very well on the first line of the first stanza, it talks about the deeper friendship and love that we find when we are in an intimate relationship with Jesus. It also entails that Jesus is always available for us in times of joy and sorrow he never leaves us because he is our companion,guide and friend.

It processed by saying, "All our sins and griefs to bear, what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer." Common

The line alone speaks about the mighty power of prayer,and how we can bring our problems,and sorrows to God prayer because his yoke is easy. He is everly ready to listen to us and to help us carry our burdens.

The next paragraph says, "O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer." It connotes that we usually suffer unnecessarily because we don't turn to God in prayer. We always want to carry our burdens alone, rather than trusting in the help and strength of God

The last line of stanza one says Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged - take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful, who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness - take it to the Lord in prayer these lines are really powerful.

God understands our every need. We find strength and comfort in knowing that we are not alone, and that Jesus is always there for us.
