Sun Starpoints and the Forest

When the sun is high in the sky there are times when its bright light is unavoidable and it can become trickier to get the type of lighting you want as the sun lighting from the sun when its at the highpoint in the sky can be a bit harsh. So I decided that I would just roll with it and use the sun creatively and try to position it how I wanted to in the frame. Also when you shoot with a smaller aperture such as f/22 the points of light become like starpoints, you get as many points as your lens has aperture blades so different lenses can get a different look this way as well. The lens flare also adds a creative element to the frame and instead of some plain old trees I get a high contrast image with some interesting light.
