Mosquito Close Up
I let this mosquito land on me and have a bit of a feast, all in the name of photography. I wanted to get a close-up of this tiny creature at work, and this was the best way to do it. The first picture is cropped in to show more detail. I did not have a macro lens with me, so I used a 35mm fixed lens, which wasn't easy to get close with. I like the fact that I was able to get the mosquito to fly away without hurting it as while they are pests I was using this one to help me work and letting it have a bit of my blood was a small price to pay.

Beautiful this macro photograph of a mosquito. I think it is one of the insects I hate the most, but these photos are wonderful.
