Mallard ducks floating on the Elbow River are a peaceful and calming sight to watch. I prefer doing things like this when there aren't people around to distract and make noise. You can see the ducks in a more natural state; the waters are calm except for the ripples of these swimming mallards and the occasional dunk that they take under water. The monochrome really makes the details seem more crisp, as well as helping the reflections on the water stand out.
