Downtown Calgary Abstract Edits

I think getting artistic and creative while editing can be a great way to breathe new life into images, and its fun to redo things to come up with other variants. Breaking out of the mindset of wanting everything to be as accurate as when the eye saw something originally really adds another level to being a photographer. Tones, filter effects, and different color palettes can help the eye see things that might not have been apparent at first. Some of these effects and looks remind me of what we see in cinema, where different directors will want to have a certain look to their film, and that is what can help something stand out from a sea of ever-evolving content.
