Built between 1907 and 1911 out of sandstone like many local buildings of that era. The classic clock tower design of the recently restored old city hall in downtown Calgary Alberta Canada stands out even among the massively larger and more modern skyscrapers that have come to dominate the cities skyline.

This building is beautiful. Perhaps the black and white brings out its beauty. I like this architecture.
