Monomad: Melting Snow and Ice Macro

Capturing snow as it melts is a fun subject for macro photography. The shapes and forms that you can see only last for a fleeting moment and are a great way to play around with depth of field and focus. The tiny ice crystals look great under some magnification and can really give you a chance to see how much sharpness you can achieve with your macro lens.
