Phoenix Rising

Nikon D7000 1/500 sec f/25 ISO-160 at 105mm

I found this phoenix when I was out shooting and having a hard time finding anything inspiring. I looked up and saw the bird rising and started to shift my framing around until I had the sun positioned in such a way that it would peek through the wing of the silhouette. To get more points from the sun I used a higher aperature at f/25 which helped create the points.
