El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes en este post, lo que fué mi experiencia realizando un curso de intubación en el hospital junto con mis amigos.

Para comenzar debo mencionarles que por situaciones de la vida, mis amigos y yo tocamos en clínicas separadas, ellos en estos momentos están en ginecología y obstetricia y yo por mi parte estoy en Cirugía, seguimos manteniendo el contacto pero ya no nos vemos todos los días como antes , al principio fue un poco raro para mí tener que conocer nuevas caras y con las que no estaba acostumbrada a estar todo el tiempo, sin embargo todo pasa por una razón y agradezco que nos hayan separado porque ahora yo les puedo contar todas mis experiencias quirúrgicas y ellos me comentan las suyas en sala de parto, además de que hicieron nuevos amigos al igual que yo y el día del curso me presentaron a una nueva amiga de ellos, la cual me cayó muy bien .

Hace unos días atrás una de mis amigas me escribió para comentarme que había un curso de intubación para el personal de salud y estudiantes de medicina , me comentaron que seguro ya había escuchado de él pero como harían varios cursos en diferentes días , me dijeron que intentara hacerlo el mismo día que ellos lo harían para poder estar juntos nuevamente aunque sea por un ratico, y así fué😄; nos pusimos de acuerdo e hicimos juntos el mismo día el curso . Tenía ya un tiempo viendo como se realizaba la técnica, sin embargo quería practicar bastante con el muñeco de práctica antes de que me tocara realizarla a una persona real y como el tiempo de Dios es perfecto, pude practicar bastante con la mejor compañía (mis amigos y los anestesiólogos que nos dictaron el curso) .
La pase muy muy bien y mientras esperábamos el turno de cada uno con los muñecos de práctica pudimos compartir un buen rato de anécdotas y ponernos al día con algunas cosas que por cuestiones de tiempo no habíamos podido hablar muy bien e incluso . Me sentí muy Feliz de estar nuevamente con ellos .

Al finalizar el curso estábamos hablando sobre nuestros otros amigos que se quedaron en Coro y todos los momentos que vivimos junto a ellos (la verdad los extrañamos bastante ) , entonces aprovechamos y llamamos a uno de nuestro amigos de allá el cual nos dijo que en unas semanas estaría libre ya que había culminado sus guardias y aunque tenía clases no estaba tan full como al principio del semestre , razón por la cual le propusimos que viniera a Barquisimeto aunque sea unos días para que pasara un tiempo con nosotros y ponernos todos al día, a lo cual se alegró y nos dijo que iba a intentar cuadrar todo para poder venirse desde Coro hasta Barquisimeto a estar con nosotros aunque sea un fin de semana, le dijimos que lo hiciera que no se preocupara porque alojo a donde llegar no le iba a faltar, a lo cual respondió que lo más seguro es que si venga.

Eso me hace muy muy Feliz ya que realmente hice grandes amigos en Coro que considero familia y me ayudaron a sobre llevar la situación de ser un estudiante solo en un estado en el cual nunca había vivido. Realmente aunque mi carrera sea bastante exigente , me gusta muchísimo y no la cambiaría por nada y además de ser una carrera muy linda me regaló grandes amigos, los cuales son además excelentes seres humanos y estoy segura que serán grandes doctores 🥼.

To begin with I should mention that due to life situations, my friends and I play in separate clinics, they are currently in gynecology and obstetrics and I for my part am in surgery, we still keep in touch but we no longer see each other every day as before, at first it was a little weird for me to have to meet new faces and with whom I was not used to be all the time, However, everything happens for a reason and I am grateful that they have separated us because now I can tell them all my surgical experiences and they tell me about theirs in the delivery room, plus they made new friends like me and the day of the course they introduced me to a new friend of theirs, which I liked very much.

A few days ago one of my friends wrote me to tell me that there was an intubation course for health personnel and medical students, they told me that I had surely heard about it but as they would do several courses on different days, they told me to try to do it the same day they would do it so we could be together again even for a little while, and so it was😄; we agreed and we did the course together on the same day. I had already seen for some time how the technique was performed, however I wanted to practice a lot with the practice dummy before I had to perform it on a real person and as God's timing is perfect, I was able to practice a lot with the best company (my friends and the anesthesiologists who taught us the course).
I had a great time and while we were waiting for each one's turn with the practice dummies, we were able to share some anecdotes and catch up on some things that we had not been able to talk about due to time constraints. I was very happy to be with them again.

At the end of the course we were talking about our other friends who stayed in choir and all the moments we lived with them (the truth is we missed them a lot), then we took the opportunity and called one of our friends there who told us that in a few weeks he would be free because he had finished his guardianship and although he had classes he was not as full as at the beginning of the semester, We suggested him to come to Barquisimeto at least for a few days to spend some time with us and catch up, he was happy and told us that he was going to try to arrange everything to come from Coro to Barquisimeto to be with us even for a weekend, we told him to do it and not to worry because he would not be short of lodging, he answered that he would come for sure.

That makes me very very happy because I really made great friends in Coro that I consider family and helped me to cope with the situation of being a single student in a state in which I had never lived. Really although my career is quite demanding, I like it very much and I would not change it for anything and besides being a very nice career gave me great friends, which are also excellent human beings and I'm sure they will be great doctors 🥼.
