What's up hivers?
How are you guys?I hope you are all doing great today.

Classes now are suspended due to a typhoon in the country ,keep safe everyone!

I just feel sad while scrolling my fb seeing those videos for those places that experienced floods now.
Let's keep praying for typhoon victim.

For today's blog I will be sharing to you my newly discovered squash or kalabasa(in our dialect)recipe.
I just saw it and got curios. And since I already harvested the squash which I planted so I decided to try this recipe out of my curiosity.

We only need this following ingredients...

-squash
-onion
-garlic
-egg
-cornstarch
-salt and pepper
-cooking oil

Since it's my first try of this recipe and I don't yet how's the taste of it ,I decided to get a small slice of the squash and peeled it then grated it.

I minced the garlic and onion ,much better if it's added with tomato and spring onions to add more aroma.

Add 1 egg and mixed.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

In a hot pot add a cooking oil and start frying our mixture.

When it turned golden brown just flipped the other side .You can used paper towel to absurb the cooking oil.

Continue frying until it all done and serve.

For the dip ,I only slice an onion added it in a spicy venigar.

I don't know how to call this recipe haha ,any idea?Maybe I can call this tortang kalabasa hihi.

Usually ,I used coconut milk for this squash and sometimes I cooked a squash adobo but this time I tried this fried squash and it taste good.

Maybe it's more better to add another vegetables like carrots and etc.

I am happy to learn this recipe coz I have something ,a new idea what to prepare for my family.
Exploring and trying different recipe ideas is one of thing I used to learn when I became mother.

And that would be all for today ,I hope you learn something from my blog.
And if you're already know this recipe kindly share it to in the comment section the other way to make this recipe more delicious.

Thank you and have a great day!!!!
