Plant now ,harvest later.....

Hello hivers!!!!
What's up everyone?I hope you are all doing great today.

I feel happy and excited to share to you guys our fruits of our labor from gardening.

Last June after the summer when it finally rained ,we decided to plant the vacant area in our backyard.
It was being cleaned during summer and when the rainy season started ,we started to plant different crops and vegetables.

We planted some corn ,cassava ,peanut , sweet potato and some vegetables like squash ,string beans , bittergourd and eggplant.

We already harvested the corn few weeks ago and just yesterday we harvested our peanut.

This is how it looks like on the month of August.

We planted it 4 months ago and now finally harvested it.

We're excited to see if we can harvest more.
Even though the soil does'nt have a proper preparation for planting ,I'm still glad to see what we can harvest from our plants.

We did'nt harvested all the peanut ,we only trying to harvest the part of it coz were not really sure if it is ready to harvest already but based on what we harvest ,I can say that it is already ready for harvesting.

Planting peanut is not easy ,we need to take care of it ,need to maintain that no grasses will grow coz it will get the nutrients from the soil that supposedly for our plants.

Since it rained this morning , we expecting that it's easily to pulled out and we are not wrong about it.

We did'nt even used some gardening tools in pulling out it.

My brother in-law separated the large size and the small one ,maybe he was planning to sell it.

And of course because of too excitement ,I cooked some of it hahaha.

It is easily to cook anyway ,we have to boiled it and just added a few amount of salt to taste.

After 20minutes ,boiled peanut is already cooked,I am super excited to taste it.

While eating it ,I feel happy as our hardwork on planting and taking care of it is worth it.

On planting or gardening we should put effort ,time and money so we can harvest and we can say that this is our fruit of our labor.

It is really good on planting our food ,aside on we can save money on buying it ,we can assure that what we eat is fresh and healthy.
