Lunch with family!
Happy Sunday hivers!!!!
What's up everyone?I hope you are all doing great today.
For today's blog ,I will be sharing to you our simple celebrations for my nephew's birthday in which we are preparing a simple lunch with the whole family.
My husband's nephew is celebrating his 26th birthday today,he is Manila for work and his mom who is in Hongkong now for work too sent us money for this celebration.
I thought there's no preparation will be happen coz yesterday's night is so quite haha ,no discussion about our family member's birthday celebration in our group chat in messenger.
But this morning ,my sister in-law told me to have a simple celebrations. The birthday celebrant step dad bring cake and roasted chicken.
And my mother in-law also told me that she will buy an ice cream and fish to grill after we went to church .
When we got home from church ,I was bit busy preparing our lunch I cleaned the small fish by removing the head and inside it's body ,anyway it's for our kilawin dish(raw fish with venigar and species.)
And I asked my nephew to make a fire for the fish to be grill. And asking him to grill it coz I need to cook rice.
Around 11:30 my sister in-law's husband and daughter(sister of the celebrant)And they bring a cake and roasted chicken.
My father in-law also offered his native chicken for a chicken soup.
And here's what we had for our lunch!
When the table was already set ,we take our lunch and it was such a great experienced again that we are united.
We may facing different problems ,struggles but we always bring ourselves to stand as family .
After having our lunch, we had some chitchats with a coconut wine or tuba in the table. It was fun to have a this family bonding .
And that's it for our lunch ,thanks you guys fro reading my blog.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
