I'm always a proud momma!

Are you proud of me mama?

A question I recieved from my son that makes my heart melt.

Good day motherhood community!!!
What's up everyone?I hope you are all doing great today.

A few weeks ago ,my son told me that he had a reading screening with his four classmates.
His teacher when he was a grade two is a coach for the reading or story telling if there's a contest in the town.

Luckily ,the teacher choose my son as a re presentative for their for the story telling contest in English that will be held at the town.

He trained my son for a week ,I honestly had a doubt thinking if my son will did it well. But I keep encouraging him that he can do it ,his teacher believes his ability.

For a week of training, his teacher chatted me telling about my son's improvement on their training. She told me this before when my son was under her advisory, she likes how my son reads and now she choose my son as their re presentative for the English story telling.

Every day ,she trained my son and happy for my son's improvement .

It was November 21 when my son had his first competition in the town.As a mom ,I support him whatever he wants and did in the school.

A
The competition will be started at 1 in the afternoon so we went to the town earlier but then the competition was started around 2 in the afternoon.

When we arrived at the venue ,my son keeps telling me that he got nervous but I am here to encourage and give him strength.I told him I am very proud of him whatever may the result.

When the contestants was called,I can feel that my son feels nervous as I what I see on his facial expressions.
As a mom also ,I really feel that nervous.

There are 10 students that will represent their schools for this contest.

When they are called and give a room for them ,we parents and their coaches was not allowed to standby near at the room.

They was given a paper with a story to read .They picked a number for them to be called and re tell the story they have reading .

Good thing that my son pick the number 8 ,so meaning he got more time to read and familiarize the words so he can re tell it to the judges.
Anyway ,there are 3 judges for their competition.

I and my youngest son ,stayed distance from the room where my son preparing for the story telling .

After my son recite the story Infront of the three judges ,he ran to me and asking if I proud of him .I can feel that really feels nervous and not comfortable.

I told him that I am so proud of him no matter what will be the result.
He knows himself that he was'nt able to recite the story well ,he missed many words from the story.

I hug him and told how proud I am as his mother .

The result was he got the 7th placer but that result never change how proud I am to my son.

After the contest ,I bought his request as his reward ,I bought a toy sword for him and fo his brother.

And that would be all for today ,thank you for your time and have a great day!!!!!
