Today the school where my son is studying (public school)was having the first Investiture Ceremony for kid,kab and boys Scout and this activity makes me realize how important our presence to our kids especially for this school activities because of what happened to one of the students there.

My son keeps telling about this event that will happen around 2 pm.When he got home for lunch he was asking me to come with him in school for this activity and asking his father to come as well but my husband is need to take care of our younger son and it needed to rest also from his nightshift duty.Glad that my son understand about it.

After preparing his lunch ,I am preparing his Kab scout uniform and told him that I'll follow him at school for the said activity.

Around 2 pm I am preparing for my self and followed my son at the school. When I got in his classroom ,he was crying as he thought I would not come ,he felt jealous looking at his classmates who already wear their Kab Scout uniform.

The ceremony started around 2:30 in the afternoon ,the students are preparing their selves and make some lines for their respective group.

The ceremony was started with the a prayer and followed with an opening remarks by the teacher and a recitation for the scouts law and followed the lighting of the candle and the putting the scarf to the students.

The first batch of the Boys scout that needed to put a scarf by the parents was made us cry .One of the student keep looking his parents around and no one comes up to put a scarf on him.Maybe he felt shy ,I don't know how he feels on that time and then he started whipping his tears.

The teacher noticed about it ,so one teacher make a move and put a scarf on his neck and he stop crying.

Not only that student who are looking a parents presence of a parents but some parents rescued and stand as their parents that time so that no more student will cry.

After the ceremony it's time for the school head to have a speech about the scout and what's the meaning of it.And in the middle of her speech ,she was'nt able to hold her tears when she talks about the student who cries ,looking for his parents. She also cries while looking for the those students who does'nt have a complete scout uniform.

And it gives us a big realization that our presence as a parents to our kids is very important. Its a big way to give our support to our kids ,to show how proud we are to them and our presence would also a strength to our kids.

Even how busy we are we should give time for our kids, and because of what happens I realize also that this scenario can't only seen in tv but in real life too ,so parents be sure to give our fully support to our kids.

Anyway ,here's some of my son's photo in the said school event.

In our country Venezuela, it happens a lot that parents emigrate and leave their children alone with their grandparents. These children do not look very happy in their daily lives even though they are cared for.

In my house they taught me that children should be with their parents and that's how it should be.

In my case, my son's father is out of the country, so I have to cover his absence, however I know that my son would be happy to have his father.
