Celebrating New Year's eve with the family!

Thanks for we survive the year 2024 and now are ready to face the year2025!
Praying for more success ,good health ,financial stable and peace for the new year.

Supposedly we will celebrate new year at my parents home but then my youngest son got sick after we went to Canigao Island for swimming.
He got fever ,cough and colds and I decided to let him to travel.

Good thing that feels better after taking medicine but still I decided to no go home as I am afraid he will sick again as we're not having a good weather .

As usual everytime were having a celebration I am one of the most busy person in the house .
Good thing that my husband nephew is here for a vacation and he will never let me to do all the things we have to do on this celebration.
His the one who buy what we need and since he already had a job ,he shoulder those expenses.

December 31 in the morning I was busy preparing for our buko pandan for dessert while my nephew went to the market.

When he came home I prepared what we need to cooked ,marinated the meat we will be preparing for our dinner .

We start cooking around 7 in the evening ,I am the one who cooked the pork steak,while my nephew preparing for the crispy PATA and shrimp and the other nephew prepared the pancit (noodles recipe)

It is my younger sister's birthday and they sent some photos to me on their dinner .

I feel a little jealous since Iw as not there hahaha.

After we done preparing for our food ,we went to sleep waiting for the January 1 to come.
Around 11 pm we take some photos as my niece during my niece break on her duty.She is working at home as a call center agent.

Around 12am ,we lighted the firecrackers ,my sister in-law bought a fireworks and I was surprised to learned the price of it ,it is now worth 7 thousand pesos,the last time we bought a fireworks it is 4 thousand pesos and now it increased a big amount.

My kids was so happy happy to see the fire works.

My mother inlaw making a lot of noise inside the house ,open the window and doors believing the badluck will go away.

After that we have our midnight snacks and slept around almost 2 am.

But before I sleep I make sure to clean all the messed as I don't want to see a lot of mess when I wake up.

I feels so tired but I have to do it ,I may feel tired but I am so thankful for this a lot of dishes tow ash coz it means we had something that we prepared for this celebration.

Today ,January 1 ,with the family we drink liquor a little bonding as well. Tomorrow classes will resume we spent this time to have a bonding with the family.
