Boodle fight for lunch ,our simple birthday celebration!

My tummy feels good today haha as we're having a simple birthday celebration for mg niece birthday.
Anyway ,she celebrates her 27th birthday today and she said that we don't more food for her birthday unlike the past years as always her mom sent her fund for her birthday.
But now since she already got married and have already a son ,as a mom our kids celebration is more than important than ours.
Hey mom out there ,do you agree with that?

Anyway ,her son celebrated his 2nd birthday last day and she spent more money for his son celebration coz she's planning that we don't have any preparation for her birthday ,she just feel blessed to have this birthday but don't have any preparation as what she planned .

Thanked God for another year of her life is more than important on having a preparation or more food in our table.Thanking God her adding another year of her life is more than enough.

But since food is life and we love ato celebrates occasions,so we prepared a boodle fight ,our simple celebration on her birthday.

This morning after she wakes up ,I prepared a sliced of cake from our left over from her son's birthday and asking the kids to sing a happy birthday song to her.

Her husband bought 1 kilo of fish and grilled and bought some lumpia it while my mother in-law her grandmother butchered two chickens.Mama raised some native chickens for some occasions and sometimes it's for our food everytime we're running out of budget.

I am the one who prepared the boodle fight set up.

After having our lunch ,some of our family member are having a karaoke while we are having some chitchats.

On setting up a boodle fight anyway ,just be creative on putting the food.Much better to added some fruits.

Looks like a blast maybe one of these days I get invited for a boodle fight. A different way of eating for me but I'd be all for it :)
