Bullying - Mrs B My Headmistress
The only memory I have of a fellow student bullying me is very vague and it didn't really have any psychological impact on me because it didn't last, coupled with the fact it happened when I was much littler. Surprisingly, ended up becoming best of friends with the bully herself, Lol.
Apart from the above instance, I don't think I've ever really experienced being bullied by a fellow student.
Before I start, there's something I'll like to point out. I can't help thinking there is a broadly-shared misconception about the subject of bullying; we think bullying can only be exacated on a student by a fellow student. But mine was different. it's not the typical student-to-student bullying we're all used to. Mine was a case of school management-to-student bullying. Yes, there's something like this.
Funny thing is, I'm only just realizing it was a case of bullying and not correction as everyone had taken it for.
So here's the story. I got transferred from my former school where I'd done my creche to basic 4 to RWA( where my bullying experience happened).
The school owner was a woman, she ran the affairs of the school solely with little help from her husband and the staff. As schoolish as I am, the reluctancy I always showed when the school bus honked outside our gate is enough proof that something/someone was bothering me. My homies all thought it was the same issue I'd discussed with them, but it wasn't.
The real reason was that, ever since I got registered into RWA, this headmistress (let's call her Mrs. B.) Has being all over me like a thorn in flesh. If it wasn't about one fee or the other, it was about my hair, if it wasn't about my hair, she'd find something else to cook up.
Out of all the ills she committed against me, there's a particular instance that stands out from the rest. I just remembered the time she called me out of the whole school during leisure time just for the sole purpose of seeing the hair-do I made( she told me the previous day to not come to school without re-making it) she saw it and stumbled into fits of laughter. I was a child then, but right at that moment, I wished I could put a bullet right through her head. The embarrassment I felt was overwhelming.
It's been over a decade now, and the hate I had for Mrs. B. Is still as fresh as a Daisy.
Eeyah... Sorry for what Mrs B did to you. Some teachers don't think that what they are actually doing is wrong, or they intentionally do it because of what they themselves are going through. Forgive her, because that's what you can do to forget how she bullied you.
Kind regards
I was just exaggerating, I have forgiven her since. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, I really appreciate.
That is exactly what happens when you make a child experience hate.
I can not even begin to imagine how you must have felt.😔
This type of bullying is often missed and it is even quite worse that most of the other types.
I am sorry you went through all that.
The terrible aspect is that bullies like these still exist in today's world; one of my neighbor's children was recently bullied by his teacher. It's very aggravating to see children go through this...
Nonetheless, thank you for taking the time to read my post; I greatly appreciate it.
It really is awful. 😟
Cheers!🤝
It's so disheartening to see this kind of situation being experience by little kids. I hope things get better at the end

Some people have A1 in causing a fellow human to look sooo demoralized.
Mrs B didn't try atall but it's all in the past now .
Happy Sunday my dear.
Yeah... My past now.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you're doing good?
Oh yes I am .
Thank you 🥰
There are some teachers like that, they would just single out a child and choose to make fun of him/her for the amusement of the class. It is never right and should never be condoned.
I am glad you turned out okay.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Yeah.. a lot of elementary kids out there are going through this especially in government schools....
