The power of our elegance
Elegance is our main letter of introduction, it is important to take care of our image and clothing, this is a value that is perhaps not as considered as others, however, it makes a big difference when relating to our environment and other people.
When we talk about elegance, this concept goes beyond just wearing expensive clothes and accessories, it is about considering the clothes we have in our closet and having good taste when combining them, also, this represents only one aspect because after making a good choice when dressing, it is also about walking properly, having a correct posture, and if we add that we must have a correct attitude that harmonizes with our appearance.
My parents and grandparents raised me in a classical way, so I attach great importance to the use of clean, ironed clothes, I have been able to observe over time that the use of a belt or strap has already been put aside, and Personally, I don't like to see a gentleman or a lady showing their underwear because they don't use this important garment when dressing.
On the other hand, I am tired of repeating to my children that even if the fashions arrive, we must maintain our principles and convictions, also, even if people do not take certain social rules into account, we must understand that everything has its moment.
For example: to attend a job interview, we must show our best face, dress appropriately to give an impression of responsibility, seriousness and unfortunately I have seen many young people present themselves dressed in any way, with pants that look very untidy with many holes, faded, wrinkled, as well as disheveled, I'm sure that leaves a lot to say about their personality, since they didn't take the time to dress and groom themselves.
So regardless of what other people want to impose as "Fashion" we must maintain our own criteria and dress in a way that we feel comfortable with and have a good presence, firstly to feel good about ourselves and secondly to be properly dressed depending on the place and/or situation
I agree with you on the matter and it's good to know you're teaching your children to focus on what's important and not chase the trend. For future reference, for topics like this I'd suggest Ladies of Hive community, or Self improvement. OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community.
