LOVE in a SHOEBOX 💝 Making an Aeta Child Happy for Christmas🎄🎁
No greater gift than God's great love 💞
Amidst a world of so many heartaches, there are still stories and people that give us that quiet assurance that love exists.
“Love in a Shoe Box” is a non- government-organization aiming to help and reach places in the remote areas of Luzon, and its target is the indigenous Aeta children.
This journey for almost 9 years has been tough but fulfilling, hoping we could engage for another gift-giving soon.
Reaching those children in the remote areas, sharing with you some of the sneaks’ peek distribution in the villages towards their journey, and here’s our team putting together our benefactors’ donations for the Aeta children and their families.
Even if they limited the call for gifts for the past year’s drive, so many kindhearted and generous could still privately reach out to us to help out.
It’s their way to be blessed and extend their help to those Aeta children in need.
For the past nine years, it starts every Christmas season by giving gifts wrapped in a shoe box.
This kid is from one of the villages we had stopped, after getting his turn he open the box quickly and see the items inside.
As I witness these giving scenarios we are always informing the givers just in case they don’t know what are the things. Would like to ask them to please put themselves in the shoes of the child they chose and think of what they, as a person, would like to get. Make that the basic platform in helping you decide what to get the child.
It's Danny! He barely had his face smiling but this time we got a chance to see him smile! Good job Danny!
As Christmas is approaching, we started hearing the loud voices, the giggles, and shrieks of delight.
Love In a Shoebox 2019
Just want to give THANKS to everyone who pitched in so we can gather all these shoeboxes for these awesome children!
The shoebox gifts and snacks for this village's children came from friends from different places.
The priority of the Love in Shoebox project is Aeta’s living inside Aeta’s Children’s home. It’s the home where they are taken care of. Only privilege Aeta has the opportunity to apply. Free tuition, all is for free but they need to leave their home, and their families at a very young age to pursue schooling.
Having that situation in their lives I can’t imagine how they survive living without their family on their side.
Love in Shoebox 2018
Again, our most heartfelt gratitude to every single person who took the time, resources, energy, and heart to help out.
A big THANK YOU to Ephraim Marquez and friends for adopting this village and providing shoeboxes and other gifts for the children!
And it's Rob, this child was jumping when he approached us, it's the first time he received a big box with a gift inside! 😍
Thank you for the support and prayers, despite things being done a little differently this past year! Through the pooling of individual efforts, we could make many kids happy every Christmas. Look at those smiles!

How fulfilling seeing this kid smiling! And hey! Look at his face!😁

While these gifts give joy to the children, I always emphasize to them that it is Jesus who is the true source of joy and meaning this Christmas.
This one is extra priceless during Shoe Day! This is Lea. And she was crying when she approached to get her gifts.
She said, "Matagal ko na pong pinagpi-pray na magkaroon ng sariling gitara.” (I always praying to have my own guitar) Maraming salamat po!" (Thank you, Sister!) Lea was good in playing guitar she always wanted to play during Sunday Church.
The children, as well as the parents, were blessed and their happiness radiates
I just want to extend my appreciation for the founder of this charity. Thank you for a heart that continues to manifest in those Aeta Children. We are so humbled by your dedication.
These beautiful, happy children are enough reminders of how Christmas is not about these gifts. It’s the people who receive them — the very ones who were in God’s mind when He sent His Son here on earth.
We became an instrument of God's love and blessings to them.
Hoping we continue to reach those villages and other tribes near Central Luzon.
These are simple children with simple hearts and simple joys. This is what happens when we reach beyond ourselves and extend a little extra love into the small corners of this world.
I love their smiles and they say it all that they are very very happy with their gifts.
I agree with you po @afterglow , it's a kind of a thing that money can't buy. Their smiles are too fulfilling! thanks for reading😁
You're welcome and keep up the good work.

We had such activities before in our office Eli! Not with the Aeta villages but some indigent people from other places in the country. It was a great experience.
