The look

An evening walk after a weird and hectic day?

Yes, why not, let's go; I can't focus on writing a post anyway.

My mind was in that "weird and hectic" part, but luckily our feet took us to the cobblestoned streets and to the promenade to unfocus the thoughts from there. It also happened as we dropped our son off to music school where they had a rehearsal for a concert. It was planned to last for an hour... and turned out to finish two and a half hours later. But it was good anyway to be outside and just stroll around without a specific destination.

As you see, the evening already started to paint the town with different colours. A darker background was coming to take over the day but sure, some interesting details remained there.

You have a lovely green haircut!

The white house closed her eyes but a light smile was shining from her face. She was glad, I guess.

Do they have emotions - the houses and the plants in front of them...? As this shrub shaped into a caterpillar looked excited and happy. What a cool idea to make such a decoration! :))

The evening fell faster and faster, by the time we walked through the centre and reached the sea, it was already dark. The sculptures had to switch on their lights to be visible. Btw, do you remember this sculpture from one of my posts? If not, then it is perfect 😁 because I wanted to ask you what it reminds you of, or what its name would be.

Art probably allows our imagination to fly to places where different laws rule, and create/observe things from our perspective. You will be surprised when I tell you later the name of this aforementioned artwork. Oh, but what I am saying - maybe you already guessed what it is.

Art also appeared in other spots during our evening walk - like this exposition of paintings of Juan Navarro Ramón. Some of his works were exhibited here, on the promenade of Altea, the town where he was born 120 years ago.

Here, on the beach, I found a cool thing; someone made a black heart from black stones but it was too dark so the photo of it didn't come out well.

IMG_20240904_210340.jpg

I saw this painting while we were still waiting for our son and walking by the shop windows. A lady with blue eyes waiting for her son or someone else, or simply getting lost in the colours of a sunset? The answer can be anything, it depends on our current state of mind.

For those days full of weirdness and hectic it's nice an unexpected walk, plus in places that paint very nice, the beach photo looks very nice and relaxing.
How nice that you took that time 💫.

Hope everything is for you✨

A wonderful walk and the work is called (?): Perspectiva.
I laughed at the hair on the cover of the house and loved the plant caterpillar, such imagination!

With a walk like this it's worth any wait, accompanied of course by your good humor.

I liked the last picture, very, very much.

Perspectiva would not be bad... but it is called Atalaya Terra, inspired by the planet Venus :)

Later I was looking at that caterpillar shrub and saw that it could also look like a snail, but without his house haha, so it stays a caterpillar 🐛

I admit it, I'm a complete disaster in artistic matters :)

The good thing about all this is that I learn a lot with you....

Caterpillar or snail look super cute hahahahaha

Great day to you @mipiano

I think all shrubs and hedges should look like caterpillars now.

Absolutely! They would bring more happy moments to passers-by, but it would also be nice if gardeners could follow the process of metamorphosis and after a certain time cut butterflies from the hedge. 😁

If you look closely, you'll notice all those leaves already look like butterflies. Well, maybe moths but those are cool too.

In any case, butterflies or moths they look like tiny winged creatures. For a moment I even thought it was a fake hedge. 🤷‍♀

The sculpture inspired by the planet Venus, which we met turned off on November 22 😄, today lights up the night. Thank you. I loved the painting The look.

Yes, you looked for the answer in the right place! :) And The Look is so cool, it captured my attention while passing by there! 🤓

Nah, I knew the answer... but I didn't remember the day and that's what I looked up.
And come on, get active. There is no justification for this drought.

Very nice walk. That place is magical. I really liked the photo you see the city with lots of lights. In the garden there is also a small statue but to me it looks like a little dwarf contemplating the Caterpillar, which the gardener who designed it did very well. Good that your son has already started with his concerts. Proud mom. Greetings @mipiano.😇

Yes, you spotted well the small stone statue - hahaha, indeed like a dwarf looking at the caterpillar. My son will move to Valencia in one or two weeks for his studies and this was just a rehearsal for a concert that they already agreed on before summer with other classmates and teachers. Greetings Mamani and thank you for stopping by!

What a lovely walk you had. Even me enjoy it, thats because of the road you take and even the pretty things that can be seen on the way. Appreciating even tiny detail of anything will bring peace . Thats what I experience when I have a walk with my oldies or Mama. Hehe. For sure the house on the first photo is so happy that someone can appreciate her. Well, that's what I think would she think if it has any emotions 😆✨

The house was happy, I think. And now she became known for more people, not just the people living there around - now Hivers also get to know her hahah :D

Night walk, more art, more lights, that sounds ideal and the painting of the woman .... is waiting for someone, will she or won't she arrive?
I love it when plants and bushes have form. Ideal walk for a day when things happen haha😃

I remember you also like night walks, but I could not get better photos later when it was already completely dark. My son's rehearsal finished at 22:30 😂

The home frontages and little gardens look so pretty. It must have been a lovely walk especially when you got to the beach. Water always is very calming @mipiano; I'd love to have seen the black stone heart. Take care of yourself <3

The black heart... I know. I made a photo but it was indeed so blurry that I simply could not put it into the post, so I deleted it. I should go during the day and see if it is still there, but the time is not conspiring in my favour for that new visit hahaha 😵
Thank you and I wish the best to you too, dear @lizelle 😇

I love those houses with their white facades and their plants planted in pots. That caterpillar plant looks great!!!!

I remember that sculpture from your previous post, but not its name. I know you said something about a planet, but I don't remember more...my memory is pretty bad, sorry 😬 I loved the night version of it, though. Thanks for the unexpected but accurate walk, I hope it helped put your mind at ease. Un abrazo 🤗

That caterpillar... I think it is the next level you will know how to cut hair :D

Yes, it was inspired by a planet, Venus, and its name is Atalaya Terra :) But it is nice that you remember about the sculpture, and the name doesn't matter, actually. Hope you are doing well, and your family too. Greetings for a buen finde ;)

This was a very wonderful walk and the flowers were really given a great haircut, I liked the one that was trimmed to have even a 'horn', like a caterpillar 😁
It was a productive walk after all.
