A whole day's walk, under a grey sky
This was an extensive walk. It lasted for... the whole day 😅
As you may know, we arrived here in Zaragoza yesterday late afternoon, after a very cool detour to a charming village called Albarracín. I wrote about it yesterday, in this post, and there I also explained how we got to make this trip. It was the destiny that decided our destination, though the timing was maybe not the perfect. The sky since yesterday has been dull, and this morning it started raining too.
We talked to one Hiver from Zaragoza (you can maybe guess who lives here) and agreed to meet at midday close the the music conservatory. Before that, we went to the Zaragoza Auditorium (the concert hall), to check if there would be some concert this evening that we could attend.
Unfortunately, no concerts this evening but we have some kind of music in our hotel. A whole orchestra came... the musicians with their musical instruments were checking in when we arrived back after this whole day-long walk. I hear now one trumpet practising from the other room. My poor husband thought he could escape for a few days from musicians and their practising. It seems that it is impossible. 😂

We left behind the concert hall building and went toward a park. Passed the hospital, the football stadium, some tram tracks, and a few streets and there we were.
In the meantime, the sun was also showing itself for a few moments. The star (Christmas decoration) could not make a lot of light as it works just in the evening. Entering the park, the rain stopped though the fountains were there to remind us about the presence of water.

And a statue in the middle of the flowers. Her work is probably thinking, resting, or maybe contemplating the passers-by.
The walk in the park finished as we had to go to the meeting place with that secret Hiver. We walked really fast not to be late. Renting a bicycle would be easier, but we are walkers. A funny detail - Bici was written as Bizi, I guess because we are in Zaragoza.
Our meeting point was in front of the music conservatory, which is located right next to the city hall.
We greeted each other with a smile, and a hug and decided where to go to have coffee. So, it is @palomap3 who we met, again. The first time we were in this city, we had a little meetup already. This time we spent less time together, as she was still recovering from the flu and we came here with our son, to have a family trip.
With the tram, we went to the city centre. Our son was in charge of finding a place to eat (he made a good choice) and the city exploration continued. We were the guide as now we knew the place. We showed him the river, the main street, the cathedral, the old stone bridge... We also visited a nice museum and another round of coffee and cake happened.
I thought I could not write a lot for this post because of the tiredness. Now I need to convert myself into that statue from the park, and just do nothing. Oh, music is here, of course, I can listen to the musicians who are practising in other rooms. And two more groups of them arrived now. 🎶 😁

Statue in park is getting white with stress because it would be seeing so many lively faces all the day.
Well, I am unable to guess that hiver from Zaragoza and also unable to see hive bag in reflection. I am failed.
Hahaha, maybe the statue got white because of it. though I see it as more relaxed, and even bored, as I many times referred to statues. Like they can walk, but they can talk or listen to the passers-by. 😁

No, we didn't ride those bicycles but we used the tram. So easy and quick to get to the city center or back 🚊

A grey day but a beautiful view!!! Those statues, the water fountains, the cathedral!!!! Please don't miss it, I love this walk, even if the weather wasn't good.

This is a lovely walk, I also enjoy all the path that your group take. My favorite was in the fountain and those bushes that's like crafted carefully by a professional crafter because of how they similar they are in shape. It's a lovely sight. But what a tirint day for you, you really did lots of walkiny in there. But at least that's also a good exercise no (≧▽≦).

In our city at the moment the weather is often cloudy, walking around the park while looking at Mongolian flowers and waterfalls is truly an extraordinary experience, I also like walking in the middle of the city to observe the most beautiful things there

I've heard of Zaragoza, but I've never been there. From your photos it seems like a beautiful city.
It seems that mobility is also well studied, I see bicycle facilities and cycle paths. In Milan you now have to be careful when riding your bicycle
There are many marked roads for bicycles now in Spain, though one has to be careful in every place while riding a bike.
