MY FUN SEASON. LOH #187

With the stress and everything going on, I'm looking forward to summer, where I can escape the hustle and hustle of life and spend time, exploring some beautiful places in my country.

The first thing on my list is to visit the Obudu Plateau. It's a very stunning hill in Cross River state. I have heard so much of how it's breathtaking. I honestly can't wait to have a view of it. I can't wait to hike through the hills, visit the famous Obudu Cattle Ranch and indulge in fresh air. My heart will be gladly refreshed.

The scenic view will provide the perfect setting for relaxation.

Next on the list I'm planning to visit is the city of Kano. Kano is an ancient city with rich history and cultural heritage. I want to explore the famous Kano city wall, the Emir's Palace (I can imagine the beauty of the palace!😍) and their bustling market. I want to sample their local dishes, dress in their beautiful attires and shop for beautiful handmade pots. I'm so sure that their warm welcome will leave me with memories never to be forgotten.

And of course, what would hold me back from visiting a beach?! I'm heading next to Lagos. I want to soak myself up in the sand, the sun and the sea! I'll prefer the Bar Beach. I might even try building sand castles, or try some water sports. I might take a boat tour. Who knows if I won't be scared, though? I believe the sound of the waves will be a perfect antidote.

I'm also looking forward to spending quality time with my family. It's been a very long time since we spent quality time together. You know, family is everything.

I want us to share stories, laughter and memories while we sit together for dinner or while we walk out together. This would really be the perfect time to reconnect with loved ones and create beautiful memories for myself.

I was just curious to look up the city of Kano, I admit to being unfamiliar with this sprawling city of 10 million people. Lagos gets most of the publicity I guess. A fascinating history, I enjoy history. I live near Vancouver Canada with a population of almost 3 million.
Thanks for sharing @ministeringpen23

Haha. I'll get the money by God's grace. 😂

I haven't really travelled to places, asides a school excursion where we travelled to Ogun state from Lagos.

I am sure you will love Kano! There are so many tourist sites you will surely love to see. I am not from there but I lived there for many years before relocating to Lagos, about 12 years ago.
Enjoy your summer vacation!

I know your trips will be worth the hype, I've also long to visit the Obudu cattle ranch because I've read a lot about it and also seen documentaries about the ranch. I know my wish will come true one day for it
