The Minimalist community presents It's More or Less the Best, a curation compilation highlighting some outstanding blogs published over the past week.

This compilation is presented to help shine the spotlight on the selected posts, with the hope that you will take a look at them in case you missed any.

Outstanding Minimalists Blogs in no particular order.

Finding Serenity In A Simplified Life.

✨"It would interest you to know that decluttering made me cultivate the habit of evaluating myself (physical space, relationships with people, memories, and so on.) from time to time. After my evaluation, I get rid of things with no importance and keep things that are only important to me." @george-dee

Scale Of Preference

✨"My dad made me realize that I began minimalism with conscious effort. And then it became a lifestyle but I didn’t know that the peace of mind simplicity gave me had extended into my personality. So now, I wasn’t just living by it, it was part of me. And that explained why my friends weren’t understanding me anymore. We were now opposite sides of a coin." @abenad

Change, Me Not.

✨"Change is something that a lot of us can’t deal with. But I think it wouldn’t be so correct if I say that negative change is the only kind of change I react badly to. Even positive change makes me freeze and then I set to panicking. How well am I going to do with this? What if I mess it up? What if I’m not enough? What if everyone is having too much faith in me and I end up disappointing everyone?" @jhymi

Nature has wonders

✨"Most times, I just pick up my phone, lock my house, and stroll down to the end of the street for a walk. The goal is to calm my mind and settle whatever is bugging it, and it usually works with utmost ease. By the time I start noticing the beauty of nature, with my hands brushing against and touching the soft, beautiful leaves of cassava, a smile begins to spread across my face. Those troubling thoughts get submerged, reminding me that life is truly beautiful." @kingsleyy

Seeing ME a little clearer...

✨"People generally avoid being fully self-aware. At least I do sometimes. And then it just leads one away from clarity and further into more perplexity. It's something I'm being more intentional about moving forward for more productivity, clarity, and, above all, peace..." @olujay

Only Because I Permit You

✨"A major reason I wanted to be in a relationship was because at one point, my life made no sense and it felt like I had no purpose. It was higgledy-piggledy. And in the midst of all that, I wanted someone who could help me make sense of it all. I wanted to at least find purpose in that person, and be a better person for that person. Find happiness, maybe." @terjix

Living With A Hoarder as A Minimalist

✨"Living with a hoarder can be overwhelming. They often have no boundaries and justify their purchases as necessities, without considering the long-term vision of an object or things . They hold on to things from their past, creating a cluttered and chaotic environment. There are certainly ways to combat it such as setting boundaries as it is very important in such situations and to co-exist peacefully." @macchiata

Sometimes I Have Conflict With My Beloved Mother

✨"I don't know how many mums out there, including my mum, love hoarding unnecessary things. It happens to my mum too. Although it's not yet a hoarding disorder, the habit of hoarding used cutlery that should be thrown away is the same as accumulating negative energy in the house. " @titisnariyah

"There is more inside of you"

✨"I work from home, so most of the time I am indoors doing what I know how to do best for the companies I work for without minding much of what's going on in the real world but living such a life sometimes makes you lose yourself or a part of you." @fashtioluwa

Blurring All Backgrounds

✨"I realized that the problem was the distraction my eyes was going through from seeing a lot of things from my handouts, phone, laptop and tablets. And the worse part of it was that, I wasn’t taking notes to give my eyes the important points to feed on." @abenad

Some additional tips

🔸 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.

🔸 If possible we recommend that authors try to use original photos taken by you. Photos count toward the possibility of your post being curated.

🔸 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you to structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.

🔸 The presentation of your blog goes a long way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.

🔸 You do not need to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle anytime.
