When Power Crumbles
Things change with time, like you never imagined even in your wildest dreams. This is what happened in Bangladesh. Two months have passed since the long-ruled regime of Sheikh Hasina has fallen. It had fallen in such a way that all the roots had been uprooted as well. Things weren't this bad just a few months ago.
Recently, news came to light, that one of our politicians has 300+ houses in the UK. Can you imagine? One politician from a country like Bangladesh whose pay scale is less than 1k USD per month got so much wealth there. This is just one politician, there are hundreds more like this. They knew, today or tomorrow there will be an end, and the ending will be in such a way that there will be nothing left in this country, they used to suck in such a way and thus they had their backup plans.
Well, here in this country, they were untouchable. Starting from top to bottom, each and every section of the country, they had their setup. So much power, oppression, injustice and whatnot? Even the general people got used to that trash system as they were invincible.
But a sudden shake, a few wrong moves from the prime minister that had shaken the whole nation. She used force instead of softness that resulted in backfiring her in such a way that she had to flee.
These are two months old news, why now? I was out of my hometown after things got normal, now when I come back I don't see lots of faces anymore. I don't see some powerful guys who used to showcase their strengths, they vanished like they never existed. Few fled abroad, some were in disguise and the most unlucky ones got caught and put behind bars. This is such a different feeling like you are flying in the sky, you can do whatever you want, however, you feel like. All of a sudden, you feel no more gravity, no air to fly, fell straight on the ground and nowhere to move nor to do anything. All you are struggling with is to survive somehow. That's what happened to a big chunk of people in my country, few are in my known people’s list as well.
There should always be a limit on how high we should fly, there should be a sense of where the ground is when to stop, how far to go, and the most important thing is to know the difference between right and wrong. If someone messes up with these then there is a long list to suffer.

Cordial greetings @minhajulmredol
Heartfelt words of how perverse and twisted corruption and injustice exercised with power can be. It can generate surprise, but in those systems their bases are soft, due to the absence of values and principles such as ethics and morals mainly, consequently, they can vanish at the least expected moment, mutating and changing, to resume the course of duty to be. I identify with your assertions, this is what is happening today in my country Venezuela, systems invaded by unbridled waste, social decomposition, with ill-gotten wealth in politicians as new landowners, to the detriment of its inhabitants and to the back of the laws.
We thank you for your thoughtful contribution in considering our community for your publications. May hope, change and transformation shine in Bangladesh. Health and well-being to you and yours !LUV

Sad to hear about Venezuela. I just pray and hope that things get better with time.
