Not Now !!

What is it like when you are raised with too many restrictions and are always told to grow like this or that and later they are complaining about the outcome even after listening to their every instructions? You were told to study, behave well, mix with the good ones, and be self-dependent, and now all of a sudden, they are making complaints over a lacking that can't be synced with any of the requirements they had imposed.

Red signal; everyone here is waiting patiently for the train to pass. Who would dare to come in its way and stop that in order to cross first? No one, the train won't stop; it will take away everything on its way. Everyone on this part is waiting; it's the rule; all the vehicles are meant to abide by that signal; they can't go out of it. But for the train? With different rulesets, it won't stop except for its destination. Now if we go to the car driver and make complaints, why aren't you like that train driver? Why are you waiting here instead of going non-stop to your destination like that train? Will it be logical? This is a car; it has different rulesets; now one thing about the train being superior to the car doesn't mean the car should adapt to that too, nor should one complain about that as it's completely illogical.

I was never on the track of a train; I was taught to be on this part, where we gotta stop and wait in case we had to; we were never reckless as it brings lots of demerits too. All of a sudden, hearing something like that is kinda frustrating. Why did they guide me like that previously? They should have let me be reckless; I guess that would have been better. In the past, they gave examples of the reckless ones, how they are a disgrace to society, and how they are mostly hated for their deeds. Now that something is arguably superior in them, we are making an unhealthy comparison. That's not fair, not fair at all. I know they will regret it later if I am willing to adapt to those changes as it brings many other consequences as well.

Whatever, we can't make everyone happy and satisfied at the same time in every aspect, but when the misunderstanding comes from your near ones in spite of listening to them always is kinda heart-breaking. No worries, time fixes everything; these are also the lessons in our life to live with.

I feel this. I sometimes get that kind of reaction from family members and I think, "Were you there during my childhood? How did you think I was going to turn out in this respect?" it's like they don't think about the consequences of teaching kids to be one way or another.
I was also raised to be very careful and even afraid, of everything, all the time. Why am I not good at taking risks now? Gee, I don't know! 🤔

Exactly the same, why don’t they just understand that everything we are taught might have some hidden consequences too? May we all cope with these adjustments.

People will keep on talking, no matter how much you try, you can't please them, nor can you put an end to the noises. So, if you have faith in what you do and in yourself, then plug your ears and keep on walking, it's gonna be a long ride.

How to plug my ears when the noise is coming from my own house? Where to escape? I can just pray and hope that they do understand my situation, I am not even in the mood to explain anything, if they can't understand my silence they won't even get my screams too.

Then you'll have to make them understand, and as long as they don't understand, you don't stop. I've been through the same situation during my teens and early 20s. So, if they're fairly understanding people, then sooner or later they will see things from your point of view.

I can understand your feelings a little bit. Although I am not felt the same as you but I have seen many people seen facing like it, especially in the study case. From the beginning, people said that to study well and a job will find you automatically and when finding a job they say you are a failure you has no capability to find a job. is it same thing happening with you?

Kinda similar but not anything related to study or a job. That's coming ahead, gotta prepare to tackle them too, I can see them coming soon.

It’s hard to try to make everyone happy and I think that’s an issue where we try to do that. We will never be able to do that and we need to stop striving towards that happy stuff. It works when it does but when it doesn’t, it’s hard to correct if not impossible.

So sorry about this. I think the values they taught you are always superior to whatever things that you were also expected to change to. People that are reckless regrets later even if they seem to prosper now. So i believe you are right to learn patience and other virtues. Pleasing everyone is almost impossible.
